Time flies, and three months passed in the blink of an eye.
That Evening
Baishi had just finished restoring his chakra and was preparing to begin another round of evolution. Suddenly, his senses picked up a shift—several markers tied to the pirates on Moon Island had moved farther away.
Along with them, the marked pirate ship had also set sail.
"Trying to escape, are we?"
A faint smile appeared on Baishi's lips as he muttered to himself.
He had anticipated that the pirates wouldn't remain obedient forever. Initially, he thought they would have attempted to flee much sooner. Yet, to his surprise, they had endured until now.
It was evident that Baishi's overwhelming presence had discouraged any rash attempts at escape. If not for the unbearable monotony of life on the island, even now, they likely wouldn't have dared to make a move.
"Thirteen kilometers away," Baishi murmured as he carefully sensed their position.
There was no rush.
With that, he summoned his system interface.
System Interface
A familiar translucent panel appeared before him:

-- Abnormal States --
Baishi's gaze lingered on Spatial Perception Enhancement.
Three months of effort had elevated this enhancement from V (0.1%) to VI (32.1%).
This breakthrough had further enhanced his Flying Thunder God Technique (Hiraishin no Jutsu). The range of his spatial markers had doubled from 10 kilometers to 20 kilometers.
This was why he could easily sense the pirates, 13 kilometers away.
As long as they didn't leave the 20-kilometer range, no matter how far they ran, reaching them would take him only an instant.
Baishi decided to wait until they had fled a bit farther. The greater the distance, the more impactful his demonstration of power would be.
Satisfied with this progress, Baishi shifted his focus back to his Basic Attributes.
Among the entries was a new addition—Chakra—which he had included to better track his progress.
Each point in Chakra represented the maximum reserves of a standard Jonin. At present, Baishi's reserves totaled 21 points.
Three months ago, this value had been 16. This meant that in just three months, his chakra reserves had grown by five points.
Previously, it had taken him six months to increase his reserves by seven points. The improvement in his growth rate was undeniable.
The reason was simple—his body was developing faster.
This trend suggested that his chakra growth would only accelerate in the future. Baishi couldn't help but look forward to the day he would become a "Chakra Tank."
Turning his attention to his other attributes, Baishi noted that three months of intense training had yielded unprecedented results.
His Strength and Agility had each increased by nearly 20 points. At the same time, his Intelligence had risen by 9 points, as part of his commitment to balanced development.
With all four primary attributes now surpassing the 50-point threshold, the improvements brought additional benefits:
His Mental Resistance had increased by 18%, while his Enhanced Senses had advanced from III (45.3%) to IV (10.3%).
Baishi estimated that his overall combat power had grown by roughly 50%.
A satisfied smile spread across his face as he muttered, "Not bad. The hard work over the past three months was worth it."
After closing the interface, Baishi rechecked the pirates' position. They had moved about one kilometer farther.
Without further delay, he locked onto one of the markers and activated the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Meanwhile, West of Moon Island – Pirate Ship
The pirate ship cut through the waves, carrying dozens of rowdy pirates. Excitement filled the air as they reveled in their apparent escape, boasting and cheering.
Amid the chaos, a figure silently appeared among them.
The revelry came to an abrupt halt.
The pirates froze, as if the air had been sucked out of their lungs. The only sounds were the crashing waves and howling wind.
Baishi's calm gaze swept over the crowd.
"I believe I said, 'No one is allowed to leave the island without my permission.' So, what exactly are you all doing?"
His voice was calm, yet it carried a weight that made every pirate lower their heads in silence.
"No one wants to answer?"
Baishi's aura intensified, suffocating everyone aboard.
"Tell me, who instigated this escape?"
Beads of cold sweat dripped from their foreheads. One pirate finally seemed ready to speak when another suddenly shouted, "Brothers, don't be afraid! Let's fight him togeth—"
The shout was abruptly cut off as Baishi's figure flickered.
A faint slicing sound followed, and Baishi's kunai slashed across the pirate's throat, silencing him forever.
Before the others could react, Baishi vanished and reappeared in rapid succession. In an instant, seven or eight pirates lay dead.
Thanks to his Agility, now exceeding 50 points, Baishi's reflexes had reached new heights. Previously, chaining multiple Flying Thunder God Technique teleports would cause his vision to blur slightly. Now, there was no such issue.
This newfound precision meant that in future battles, he could unleash the full potential of the technique without hesitation.
To the surviving pirates, Baishi's movements were terrifyingly incomprehensible. To them, he barely moved, yet several of their comrades had fallen.
Even more unsettling was how Baishi had accurately targeted the ringleaders behind the escape plan.
None of them remembered anyone exposing these individuals, yet Baishi had unerringly singled them out.
The survivors could only tremble in awe of his seemingly omniscient power.
In truth, Baishi didn't need confessions. With his heightened senses, subtle cues like quickened heartbeats or nervous gestures were enough for him to discern their thoughts.
Watching the pirates tremble before him, Baishi thought to himself, "This demonstration should suffice. No one will dare attempt another escape."
