Chapter 1 - Prologue

...

The world had once been simple. A place of certainty. Where the sun rose and fell on familiar horizons, and the stars above were distant but constant. But that was before the Event.

Five centuries ago on a normal day suddenly the skies trembled, cracks appeared in the sky breaking the tranquil peace and reality and spilled forth a mysterious Energy.

At first, the whispers of its power were little more than myth, a strange force that could warp the very fabric of existence. The government along with some hidden organisation tried their best to kept it a secret.

But soon, the truth became undeniable. The world—our world—had been reshaped.

Changes that can no longer he be

hidden began to be discover. Entire airships vanished without a trace, swallowed by the unseen forces that lay beneath the surface. Random people—began to disappear, leaving behind only whispers, New lands had risen from the ocean. Cities stretched upward like massive trees of glass and steel, their roots tangled in the unknown mysteries of ancient powers. Mutated creatures roamed the wilderness, their eyes gleaming with a strange, unearthly intelligence.

Humanity, too, had changed, our lifespan stretched and abilities augmented by this newfound energy, technology advances rapidly .

...

Yet, for all its blessings, This Energy was not without its curse. The world was in chaos powerful people began to emerge and the dark corners of forgotten temples, pyramids and forbidden zones. There were rumors of a vast power hidden deep within, a force older than time itself, one that threatened to undo everything.

And then there was Kaelan.

A young man, born into a world of wonders and dangers. He had felt the stirrings of something within him long before he understood its source. Trained at an academy where the brightest minds and fiercest warriors gathered, he was destined to be more than ordinary. But even he, with his untapped potential, could not see the full scope of the storm that was coming.

It was not just the power that would change him—but the choices he would have to make, the truths he would uncover, and the sacrifices he would have to bear for the sake of those he loved.

This was a world on the edge of transformation—and at its heart, a conflict older than time, fueled by the manipulation of energies unknown. A game of gods and mortals. A test of strength and resolve. And somewhere within it, a hero would rise—not from grand feats of power, but from the quiet choices of love and loss.

But to understand it all, one must first understand the Event. The moment the world shifted—and the moment that the mystery of Origin Energy was born.
