Míng Yûzé pov.
I was now sitting in front of Xiâo Dān, who's eating his food while also using his phone.
I also notice that there was no one here except me and him as I look around the quiet atmosphere.
"Hey, I just noticed that no one is here... are you living on your own?" I asked, making him glance up at me.
"Not really; my parents just left to work overseas while my sister was busy somewhere," he said as he shrugged his shoulders before turning his attention back at his phone.
"I see, so does that mean you're the one who cooks the breakfast?" I asked while he just nodded and still kept his eyes on his phone.
"Well, not bad at all; you'll be a great boyfriend then," I joked with a sarcastic tone, while he just looked up at me again.
"You think so?" he said, making me gaze at him in confusion.
"What do you mean?" I asked, but then he lean closer to my face, making me back away from my face a little.
"You think I can be a great boyfriend?" he asked, making me chuckle nervously and avoid his gaze.
"Maybe, I mean, it was just a joke," I said and pushed him back down to his seat, but he just chuckled at me with an annoying smirk on his lips.
"Well, if you think so... then why does he keep running away from me?" He suddenly asked, catching me off guard as I stared at him for a moment.
"What are you talking about?" I asked as I looked at him with a frown, but he just chuckled and shook his head before standing up.
"Don't mind it, you should stay here first until lunch," he said as he walked out of the dining area, while I just watched him leave.
Now, I wonder why it looks like Xiâo Dān and Zî Ruì have some deep connection to each other? Do they perhaps have a past, or am I just overthinking again?
I let out a heavy sigh before shaking my head and decided to wash the dishes after eating.

I walked out of the kitchen after cleaning the dishes and saw him sitting on the couch while using his phone again.
"Ah right, it seems like you know Zî Ruì really well," I said as I sat up beside him and pulled out my phone from the pocket of my borrowed pajama.
"Can you help me open his phone?" I asked as I showed him the phone, while he just looked at it before chuckling.
"Well, don't you have some privacy respect? After all, that is not even yours," he said while smirking at me, clearly trying to annoy me.
"So what? This is still his body, and that means I have rights to use his phone," I said while rolling my eyes, but he just chuckled and grabbed the phone before unlocking it.
"There, just change it if you want," he said before turning his attention back to his phone.
I took the phone and saw that he actually opened it in no time. Now the first thing that comes to mind is, 'How did he know the password? '
"So you really know Zî Ruì? Do you guys have a past?" I asked, making him glance at me with a weird face.
"You know, it was weird to ask such a thing when you're using Zî Ruì's body," he said before letting out a heavy sigh.
"Anyways, nothing happens between us or any special relationship," he said while continuing to use his phone.
"Then what are you two? How did you know so much about Zî Ruì, and you even know his password?" I asked in confusion,
wanting to dig more about their relationship.
"I said there was nothing much, so you just better pretend that we don't know each other after this," he said before he stood up and headed straight upstairs.
"Argh! Such a stubborn kid, can't he just say it?" I groaned in impatience as I grabbed my hair in frustration.
'There was really something between them, but what is it? ' I thought before letting go of my hair and leaning on the couch.
I sighed and looked around the living room, but so nothing; even some family frames were nowhere to be found.
I look at the phone again and start to check through his social media, until I decide to view his gallery.
"Bruh, this kid was surely boring," I froze as I widen my eyes while I continue to scroll.
I just looked at every picture, and I was really sure that these pictures were stolen pictures of Xiâo Dān...
Wait, don't tell me that Zî Ruì was a stalker? or what if they date before? but wait... Is Zî Ruì obsessed with Xiâo Dān?!
"See something?" Xiâo Dān suddenly asked, making me look toward the staircase, and I saw him heading downstairs.
"N-Nothing... just some uh-games..." I stutter as I gulped nervously.
"Whatever, I'll go to the grocery store for a bit," he said while wearing his jacket and holding his phone.
I stared at him for a moment before standing up too and walking toward him.
"Can I come too?" I said as I gave him a smile, while he glanced at me and rolled his eyes.
"Whatever floats your boat," he said unbothered while heading out of the door.
I chuckled as I followed him from behind while pocketing the phone inside my pocket again.

After some time of walking, we finally arrived inside the grocery store while he picked up a basket.
"What do you want to eat?" he asked while watching me as I looked around the shelves.
"Anything was fine," I said as I picked up some spicy chips before turning to show it.
"Hey, can I have this?" I asked with a wide grin, but he just stared at me with a poker face.
"No, Zî Ruì was allergic to spices," he said, making me roll my eyes and put it back on the shelves.
"Tch. how annoying," I muttered to myself while he just walked somewhere else, and I just followed him again from behind.
"Zî Ruì?!"
A voice suddenly called, making me turn around only to get a hug from Huì Yîng.
"Oh my gosh! I thought something bad happened to you!" She said worriedly with wide eyes, and she was also holding both of my arms.
"What are you doing here? And what do you mean'something happen to me'?" I asked in confusion while yanking her hands off of me in annoyance.
"Well, the manager told me that someone took you out of the restaurant, and I thought that you might've been kidnapped!" She explained before she let out a relief sigh.
"Oh gosh! Thank goodness that you are fine," she said while smiling widely again.
"Hey, what are you taking so... long?" Xiâo Dān suddenly appeared behind me, but then he stopped as soon as he saw Huì Yîng right there standing in front of me and was now looking at us with a confused look.
