It was the start of a new semester, the university grounds are packed with students exploring the booths. In every 2nd week of each term, the university holds an event for students, and they call it the student's week. A week for students to have fun and explore creative booths held by the school's organizations, then at night; there will be concerts performed by the university bands. 

"Taer, wanna watch the concert later after our booth close?" his friend Gavin asked.

Taer and Gavin are both part of a performing theatre arts organization, where Gavin is part of the creatives committee and Taer is part of the technical committee. Performing arts is a fun organization filled with extroverted and talented people.

"Sure, I heard somewhere that the band that will perform tonight are seniors from the Computer Science department." Taer answered while arranging their booth's equipment.

"Wait..." says Gavin, "Does that mean I'd get to watch Akio perform on stage?!" he exclaimed, jumping in joy. Their other org mates are staring at Gavin with judgement while he's dancing around in joy, it was an unordinary sight for them, but for Taer, that's the most normal thing Gavin could do.

Meanwhile, as the interactive booths starts to close, the music organization is starting to prepare for the performance that will be held in a few minutes. 

"Hey guys, have you heard of this rumor?" says one of Yuan's bandmate, the group crowded on him, "They said that the first person you notice in the crowd while performing is the one meant for you, the universe will make it's way for the two of you to link." he added.

"What kind of nonsense is that Kira?" says Yuan while shaking his head, "Instead of spreading useless rumors, you should be practicing your lines" he added. Yuan is the Black Melody's band leader, and he is also the lead guitarist. 

"Chill bro, you need to learn to have some fun" Akio commented, he is the band's drummer.

As the night gets older, the crowd grew wilder, and the place became more crowded. Finally, at exactly 11 PM, it's time for Black Melody's turn. As the band faced the crowd, their heart starts poundering, they need to make the crowd like them --- it was the band's sole goal.

"Hello lazalians! We're Black Melody and for our first song, it is an original song written by our drummer, Akio!" Says Yuan, the crowd starts cheering as the band starts to play their song.

Meanwhile, as Black Melody starts playing their song, Gavin is dragging Taer to the oval where the concert is being held. They missed the first part because of the organization's practice for tomorrow's performance, and as soon as Gavin heard of Akio's name he stopped the practice and dragged Taer out the building towards the oval.

"Oh my gosh, look Taer, Akio's on the big screen" Gavin exclaimed, "And fuck, I'll have many competitors!" he added, making Taer laugh. Gavin has a crush on Akio for about two years now.

"Oh look Taer, it's Yuan" he pointed at the guy flashed on the big screen. Yuan was smiling and laughing making Taer starstrucked, it's his first time seeing someone smile that brightly on stage.

"Whose that?" Taer asked, still staring.

"I heard he's the new member, a second year who joined the band last semester but since their old leader left, they assigned Yuan to be the new leader." he explained.

'I've never seen a man as cool as him, I hope I'll also hear him sing.' Taer whispers to himself.
