Saikyo thinks to himself as once again he wakes up at 7 am before Swan, he looks at Swan and sees that her hair is white & light lemonade pink.
"I always thought the Accelerant character I made was cool, but he was kinda boring, I should just drop and stick with Saikyo, it's much better and sounds so much cooler, honestly I'll just be easier for myself."
He thinks to himself, intending to drop the persona to make things easier for himself.
"And the skill Acceledecelrator, I'm not using it anymore, way too complicated for me and I don't wanna do all that thinking every time I have to use it, I should do something else."
Saikyo thinks to himself about what else he can do.
"That old man did say that Transmitters could change the properties of our mana, maybe I should do that instead, I could make it rough so that my punches hurt more."
He thinks about this while still in his bed, he then gets up and puts on his clothes, Swan still asleep. He sees that he is now able to walk normally without the crutch, so he removes the band from his arm, and he also decides to take off his earrings.
"I should make more moves since just saying punch was enough, I could do a kick or a chop or something."
Now fully dressed and with his hair in more waves and slightly slicked back, he wakes up Swan by shaking her a bit too violently, she wakes up, ignoring the violent shaking, and still half asleep, she puts on her dress, heels, and choker in the bathroom, he waits for her to change and after a while she leaves the bathroom now fully dressed.
"You smell strong, why did you put on yourself?"
He says covering his nose.
"Collonge, I need to make myself smell good."
She says, spraying a little bit more on herself.
"Now let's go to the party and beat up this woman."
He says.
"Relax, we can't go yet, it doesn't open until 9:00 so we have 2 hours until the Ball actually happens we should eat some breakfast first and practice moving in our clothes so when we have to fight, our clothes don't hold us back."
She says, walking to the door, struggling a little to walk in her heels.
"Makes sense, I can also make some new skills to help us."
Saikyo also walks to the door and opens it for her, she walks out first with him following suit.
The Perspective switches to Metsuma and Cyra as they are chasing Klaus, his arm bleeding but still in pursuit while Cyra is shooting at him.
"JUST FUCK OFF DAMMIT, I NEED THIS BOOK MORE THAN YOU!"
He yells while still running.
"I doubt that, I know I need it more than some psychopath!"
Metsuma runs fast enough and can catch Klaus, tackling him to the ground but Klaus, having none of it, grabs Metsuma's neck and crushes it, killing him instantly, he doesn't feel the pain of this death, he wakes up exactly where he landed, the cross now being present, realizing that he had revived again and knowing that he cannot waste time starts running the same direction, Cyra shoots Klaus's left hand, which destroys it.
"DAMN IT, FUCK!"
He says while holding his arm.
"「Give me the book and I will spare you. 」"
She says, aiming the rifle at Klaus.
Klaus, having no intention of giving the book up, moves the rifle away with his left arm and reaches for her with his right hand, she creates a clone again and moves out of the way, the clone fights a little but is killed in the end.
"Why are you still fighting? I killed the kid already, he's dead."
He says mockingly.
"「No, you did not, he will revive and defeat you" 」"
She says.
"Huh, the hell are you talking about, he's dead."
Klaus says, confused by this mention.
"「I do not need to explain, I just need the book. 」"
She says.
"People like you are so awful, I need this book so I can kill my parents, trying to shoot an innocent man that is only doing justice, you're an awful person."
He says, venting out his emotions.
"「Did you not kill the child the first time just to get the book, an innocent child. 」"
She says, unamused by his hypocrisy.
"That was justified okay, he wants it for his own selfish desire, I'm doing it for a good cause."
"「Doubt. 」"
Cyra begins shooting at Klaus but he manages to dodge them all and he prepares to dissolve her but Metsuma reaches them just in time and he tackles Klaus, he goes in for a punch while on Klaus, he puts his all into his punch and he feels a quick pain in his hand but he ignores it. Klaus tries to deteriorate his hand but when his hand comes into contact with Metsuma's right hand, for some reason it doesn't deteriorate and he is punched in the face, the back of his hand lessening some of the damage.
His mask becomes more damaged revealing half of his face now.
Metsuma grabs the book and backs up.
"Whoa, how did I punch him? I thought my hand was going to deteriorate.
Metsuma gasps for air, having run for so long just to reach where they are now.
"「So, it has awakened somehow, I guess the monster was tired of him dying. 」"
Cyra thinks to herself.
The perspective switches to Saikyo and Swan, both now walking towards Ballet Tower.
"Finally, time to punch that woman in the face and make her pay."
Swan walks along with him, now able to walk properly in her heels.
"I'll need to rely on you if we need to run, I can't run in heels."
She says, more relaxed than before, she now feels reassured with someone like Saikyo by her side, being more physically capable than she is.
"Your strings can be useful for things like tripping people or tying people up or something."
They both are near the Ballet Tower where they see a red carpet and lots of other people wearing fancy clothes, some seem old and others seem like young adults, those adults surrounded by red rope and bodyguards surrounding the rich folk.
"We should stand in that crowd, right?"
Saikyo asks.
"Yeah, we have to show we are a couple to be let in, remember."
Swan says.
"Let's hold hands to make it more believable."
Swan reaches out her hand and he accepts, holding her hand but unintentionally giving a strong grip.
"Strong grip."
Swan says, her hair changing to rose pink and light red.
"Let's just go."
Swan pulls him towards the crowd, and a guard stops them and asks for proof that they are together.
Swan's hair turns to rose pink and light red again as she prepares to do something she prepared for herself to do in the bathroom. She turns to Saikyo, turns his head towards her, and kisses him on the lips, she slowly turns back and looks at the guard. The guard stands there for a moment before letting them in the crowd, Swan grabs Saikyo, not really reacting to the kiss at all, and just goes along with her.
"Forget I kissed you, okay, this was all so we can get in."
Saikyo just shrugs his shoulders. They both slide between the legs of the crowd so they can get a view of the red carpet, they see a limo park in front of the red carpet and when the door opens, it reveals a man in a red striped suit, his tie having a heart pattern.
Swan's hair turns red from the sight of the pain, and she squeezes on Saikyo's hand. Not really affected by her squeezing his hand, he just lets her.
"Stupid, dummy, trash, piece of garbage, shit fuck."
She says to herself, just thinking of any way she can insult this man, Saikyo having used his new skill, "Sense" which allows him to increase the efficiency of all his senses and he hears her under her breath.
"Does she hate him that much; did he do something to her?"
He ponders this question; however, he decides to forget the question as he feels that it's not his business. After the man and a couple of bodyguards walk into the building, the bodyguards on the inside of the ring unlock the ropes which now the guests are allowed to enter.
Saikyo grabs Swan's hand and walks into the tower with her, once inside they both see lots of fancy food and tables as well as music performers on a stage.
"FOOOOOOOOOD."
Saikyo thinks to himself, letting go of Swan's hand and running towards the food but he stops midway and is pulled back by Swan.
"I knew you would do that, so I wrapped my string around you."
She says confidently, showing her finger, now unraveled into a string.
"Why, though, it's food."
He asks.
"We need to first find seats and then they will serve us first, after that, we can take as much food as we want, although it will take about 3 hours for that process to happen."
She says dragging him to a table that is near the bathrooms.
"WHAT, come on, why do I have to wait so long?"
He says, annoyed at the situation that he now has to deal with.
"Don't worry, we can do a lot before we can freely roam the building."
Swan says, having patience.
Saikyo looks around the area and sees the same woman who attacked them earlier.
"Swan, look, the woman who attacked us."
He says while pointing at the woman, wearing a light brown jacket, a white sweater, and a brown dress.
Now with their enemies in sight, they wait until they are allowed to freely move.
