"BBB! I choose B!"
To be honest, Marsh knew that the best option would be A, sparing Spandam.
Given Spandam's nature, there was no chance he'd have any life-altering epiphany.
But thinking of everything he did in the original story, Marsh didn't want to miss this chance to end him.
As for Option C, just imagining that scene made Marsh's stomach turn.
[You raise your hand and, with a swift strike, end your brother's life.]
[Congratulations, you have unlocked the achievement Brother Slayer and received a purple reward.]
…The reward for killing Spandam is better than killing 200 pirates?!
System, be honest, were you rooting for him to die, too?
[14 years old: Your father sends you to CP5, a secret agency under the World Government, for training. Upon arrival, you notice a few young people around your age glaring at you. Your response is?]
[A. Ignore them.]
[B. Pull the only girl into your arms and humiliate her.]
[C. Kill the ringleader to establish dominance.]
[Note: Selecting this option will activate immersive mode.]
[For a more immersive experience, the system will restore your voice.]
Peers at CP5?
That must mean Rob Lucci, Kaku, and Kalifa, who later joined CP9 with Spandam in the original story.
Ignoring them wasn't an option.
And the ringleader… that must be Lucci, the one with the pigeon on his shoulder.
Should he kill him now?
No.
As the Straw Hat Pirates' toughest opponent in the mid-story, Lucci would be essential for integrating Robin into Luffy's crew and becoming one of Luffy's teachers to help him master Gear Second!
So, the choice was clear.
But why does immersive mode always have to kick in for moments like this?!
"Hey, glasses girl, got plans tonight?"
With a playful smile, Marsh beckoned to Kalifa.
Kalifa froze, then clenched her fists and replied angrily, "Commander Marsh, watch your behavior! We may be an intelligence agency, but we're still military officers!"
"Oh? With that short skirt and those risqué stockings, it looks to me like you're all ready for my attention."
Marsh walked over as he spoke.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Kaku, as stiff as a board, frowned and tried to push Marsh away.
But Marsh's body shifted in a strange way, making Kaku miss his mark.
Kami-e!
"You-"
Fear spread across Kalifa's face, but before she could finish her sentence, Marsh covered her mouth with his own, silencing her.
"Mm…"
In an instant, Kalifa's mind went blank, crashing like a system overload!
And Marsh wasn't done yet, he even tried to lift her skirt!
"You bastard! Let her go!" At this, Lucci finally lost his composure.
As her closest companions since childhood, they had all watched over Kalifa with the utmost respect.
They had never been faced with a situation like this!
However, just as Lucci took a step forward, a soft swoosh sounded, and he collapsed to his knees before Marsh.
Shigan!
The other boys rushing toward Marsh were sent flying as well.
None of them even saw when Marsh moved!
Then, a lazy voice drifted through the air.
"Whoa, whoa, Spandine has one heck of a son, doesn't he?"
A chill filled the air, as though it could freeze a person's very soul.
Marsh reluctantly released Kalifa's lips.
Raising his eyebrows, he looked at the man who had interrupted his fun.
A tall man stood before him, draped in a navy cape, wearing a white vest over a deep blue shirt.
At his forehead sat a green sleeping mask, ready to let him doze off anytime.
Aokiji, Kuzan.
"Well, well, look who's here. I didn't expect Vice Admiral Kuzan to come on my first day at CP5~ Oh, and soon enough, I should start calling you Admiral Aokiji."
Smiling, Marsh extended his hand to shake Kuzan's as he approached.
But a wall of ice suddenly rose between them.
"You wouldn't hit a smiling man, Vice Admiral, right?"
