In the dark corner of the dungeon cell, Sophie lay listlessly, her body bruised and broken, her spirit hanging by a thread as the cold stone walls closed in around her. She had been there for six months now—tortured, exhausted, and numb.
Her soul had died long ago after everything she'd endured. Her eyes remained open as she stared at the tiny hole in the wall, through which moonlight poured in like a sliver of hope. She had lost her will to live; all she wanted now was to see her family one last time, even if only from a distance.
How could she ever face them again? She had been accused of something she didn't even understand. If she ever went back, would they believe her? Would they be in danger if she did? Would these people imprison them too if they knew who they were?
She didn't have the answers to any of these questions. All she wanted was to see them once more, hear their voices before her life slipped away. But she knew those things were impossible. These people would never let her go. After all, she had been accused of trying to kill the little miss of the second-largest gang in the country. Who were they? Who was this little miss they spoke of? Why had they accused Sophie of murder when she didn't even know who she was?
Maybe she would die here before getting any answers. She smiled bitterly before continuing to stare.

On the other side of the city (In the VIP ward)
Doctors were coming and going, checking on Natalie (Nate) Castellano, the little miss of the second-biggest gang in the country. Slowly, she began to show signs of waking up after six months in a coma. Her eyes fluttered open, and she saw her entire family standing around her, looking relieved yet tense.
Her older brother, Alexander (Alex) Castellano, watched her with red-rimmed eyes, his expression twisted with a mix of pain and fury. He swore that Sophie would feel a hundred times the pain his sister had endured. He wouldn't let her die so easily. She would regret ever crossing his family.
"Just wait and see, Sophie Turner," he muttered under his breath. "I'll make your life a living hell."
