MingTang was no fool but she had decided that she will let this matter go for now, and if Qi Yang ever acted like that again then she needed to re evaluate their friendship and what she stands to gain in thsi relationship.
Qi Yang did not know that her stunt as already put a strain on her relationship with her friends. But she was thinking to her self that MingTang and the others have already believed everything that she said. Which wasn't true because the reason why she did not know that they know she was lying about the own thing they just decided to keep mute for now and not say anything.

Then MingTang told her mother about everything that happened yesterday at work with Qi Yang and how she acted and how she feels it will be best her safe for her to keep a distance from Qi Yang.
