Chapter 1 - A Boring Life

The night sky was exceptionally clear, with stars shining brightly and clearly visible. In a park located in the heart of the city, a young man was sitting on a bench, holding a can of coffee in both hands, gazing up at the night sky.

"Isn't life just so boring?" the young man murmured.

From his eyes, it was clear that he no longer had a passion for life and was merely going through the motions without enthusiasm or ambition. His eyes seemed to speak the truth—that life in this world no longer held any interest for him.

The young man sitting in the park was named Arthur, an office worker who lived a monotonous life, working from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the occasional overtime that made him return home late at night. His daily routine was tedious and uneventful.

Arthur felt bored with his life. He believed there were no more challenges for him. Life felt colorless, like a black-and-white world. When he first entered college, Arthur was excited and happy, eager to begin a new phase of life with new experiences and things to try. However, the reality was different. It only took him two years to finish his studies and another two years to try out all the usual activities that students his age typically experienced in college.

To Arthur, those things were boring, and nothing ever caught his interest.

"I wish I could live in a world where there are many things that could make my life more colorful" Arthur muttered, still gazing at the beautiful night sky.

Time passed quickly, and soon it was getting late. Arthur got up from the bench and began to walk home, reflecting on his boring life while enjoying the peaceful night.

Just a few steps away from his seat, a shooting star streaked across the sky, shining brightly, creating a beautiful spectacle. Arthur stopped and, without realizing it, clenched his hands together and made a wish. People often say that when you see a shooting star, you can make a wish, and that wish would come true.

"Please, let my life be more colorful and full of challenges," Arthur prayed solemnly to the falling star.

Arthur was not someone who believed in ghosts or superstitions, like the myth about shooting stars granting wishes, but he figured there was no harm in trying. Maybe the myth was real, after all. Once the shooting star faded from view, Arthur continued his way home.

It only took Arthur a few minutes to reach his small rented house, a place that was just enough for him to live alone. Arthur could afford a bigger place, but it seemed unnecessary, as he only lived by himself, and the small house suited his needs just fine.

Arthur quickly cleaned up in his tiny bathroom and prepared to rest, knowing he had to wake up early the next day for work. Time passed, and it was now well past midnight when something extraordinary happened.

The shooting star Arthur had seen earlier was now heading directly toward his house, and it seemed like it would strike exactly where he lived. Arthur, fast asleep and unaware, didn't notice the imminent danger.

As the star grew closer, the people around Arthur's house began to notice something was wrong. They quickly rushed out of their homes and ran away, fearing what was about to happen.

Boom!

A loud explosion echoed as the falling star struck Arthur's house, creating a massive crater where his home once stood. Arthur, still deeply asleep, had no idea that he had been killed by the meteor's impact.

If Arthur had known how he had died—such a silly and tragic death—he would have probably thought it was a ridiculous way to go.

However, something strange happened. Some parts of Arthur's body began to regenerate, and miraculously, he bore no scars from the impact. Instead, his body began to emit a blinding white light, as if the sun itself were shining through him, making it impossible to look directly at him.

After some time, the light grew even brighter before suddenly vanishing, along with Arthur.

Still fast asleep in his dreams, Arthur disappeared from this world and was transported to a completely new world—one where wild beasts roamed freely and everything was different.

This new world was known as the Beast World, And now, Arthur found himself in a new world, unaware of how he had arrived.

Perhaps this was the result of his wish—his desire for a life full of color and challenges.

In this world, filled with wild beasts and mysterious places, Arthur was about to begin his journey.
