Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Physical Therapy or Surgery?

Lynn maintained his composure and said, "If that's the case, I suspect you might have eaten something you shouldn't have. It seems you've consumed your doll's arm."

The girl's smile instantly froze.

But the doll's laughter continued unabated: "Dolly loves mommy! Mommy loves dolly! Hee-hee-hee-hee!"

Lynn looked up with his dead-fish eyes and asked, "Have you been feeling any discomfort in your stomach lately?"

The girl stiffly replied, "My stomach's been making gurgling noises, and it feels like something's tickling inside."

Lynn nodded, jotting notes down, and casually said:

"Then it's probably correct. It seems it hasn't been digested yet. Do you want to opt for surgery or physical therapy?"

The girl stiffly asked, "How... how would you do it..."

Clang—

Lynn suddenly thrust the bloody Bone Carver into the countertop.

"We'll cut open your belly, take out your doll's arm, and I'll stitch you back up."

In an instant, the doll's laughter abruptly stopped.

A cold shiver ran from the girl's feet to the top of her head.

"What about physical therapy?"

Lynn stood up.

He took gloves and a mask from the counter, looking at her calmly, and said:

"That's simple. No need for cutting. Do you want me to extract it from the top or the bottom? I can help you either way, and it's cheaper too."

Girl: "!!!"

Doll: "!!!"

[Girl's sanity -20]

The girl asked in a daze, "F-from... the top..."

"Alright," Lynn said, pushing things aside on the counter and flexing his wrists. "You're small, so we don't need to go to the operating room. We can do it right now, but you'll need to bear with it. Try not to bite off my arm."

Under the girl's terrified gaze, Lynn's enormous shadow loomed over her, wearing a mask and leather gloves, his eyes radiating calmness.

The girl sat on a small stool, instantly hugging her doll tightly.

"Can I not look?"

Lynn said flatly, "No, my teacher said that once you enter this shop, you have to get treatment. Otherwise, you'll have to leave something behind."

The girl trembled in a daze, but finally compromised:

"Okay..."

She forcefully opened her mouth.

"Open wider!"

Rip—

The girl stretched her mouth to the back of her neck, opening her giant maw.

An unpleasant odor wafted out.

Lynn's expression remained calm as he took a brace from the counter and secured it between her upper and lower jaws to prevent any reflexive reactions.

Then he flexed his arm and plunged it into the girl's mouth.

Squelch—

It went in all at once!

Deep-throated!

The girl's eyes instantly widened.

"Mmph—mmph—"

"Don't move," Lynn said sternly, calmly exploring inside her stomach.

"It'll be over soon. If you don't want your doll to remain incomplete, stay still."

[Ding! You've obtained Comb x1]

The girl's eyes bulged as she kept her mouth wide open, continuously making muffled sounds of fear.

"Found it!"

Lynn felt a twitch in his heart.

His fingers touched something that was still wriggling.

[Ding! You've obtained a Wriggling Arm x1]

Rip—

It was indeed the doll's arm that she had eaten.

Lynn calmly washed the arm and placed it on the counter, saying:

"This should be it. You must have been extremely hungry that night and unconsciously ate your doll's arm. Your doll saw you were hungry, so it didn't remind you."

"However, you should be more careful in the future. Don't eat strange things randomly; they're hard to digest."

The girl, mouth still held open by the brace, couldn't utter a word.

"Physical therapy costs 10 skull coins, and stitching costs 30 coins per session."

Lynn, wearing his mask, calmly took out some twine and a sharp, long needle that gleamed brightly.

"Shall we stitch it now?"

The doll in her arms suddenly burst into tears, frantically trying to escape.

"Nuh—ow—" (Now)

The girl, mouth still propped open by the brace, mumbled dazedly.

Lynn put on his gloves and said flatly, "Alright, hold it down for me, and I'll start stitching."

The girl immediately widened her eyes and pressed the struggling doll onto the counter. The doll's eyes reflected the cold glint in Lynn's eyes, causing it to let out a series of shrill screams.

"Let's begin."

Swish swish swish—

Half an hour later, accompanied by the doll's agonized screams of "Ahhh! Ahhh!", Lynn took out scissors, cut the thread, and said:

"All done. Now we'll apply some potion. Use it once a day, and within a week, this arm should be back to normal."

Lynn found a bottle of green, oily potion from the counter.

After opening it.

He poured it onto the stitched area, causing the doll to let out a terrified scream.

The girl asked in a daze, "Is... is it over...?"

Lynn dusted off his hands and said calmly, "It's done. You can pay now. Physical therapy 10 coins, stitching 30 coins, potion 10 coins per bottle, seven bottles in total. That comes to 110 skull coins! Thank you for your patronage, welcome back anytime."

The doll quickly burrowed into the girl's arms, trembling and fearfully looking at Lynn.

Clearly, Lynn had left an unforgettable psychological trauma on it.

The girl fumbled around her body in a daze.

After a while.

She pulled out 20 coins and shakily placed them on the counter, saying:

"I... I only brought twenty..."

Lynn said flatly, "That's fine. You're still short 90 coins. Which part of you would you like to use as collateral? I can cut it off for you, free of charge."

As he spoke.

Lynn picked up the Bone Carver.

The girl instantly showed a (ΩДΩ) expression and took a step back.

"Here's ten more coins!"

The girl quickly fished out ten more coins from her clothes and placed them on the counter.

Lynn said flatly, "Still short 80."

The girl (ΩДΩ) put down the six bottles of potion and said, "I'll come back for these potions later."

Lynn took back the potions and said flatly, "Still short 20."

The girl trembled and asked, "Can I have credit?"

Lynn walked out holding the knife and said flatly, "Small business, no credit allowed. I can't make that decision. But 20 coins isn't much. Leave one of your eyeballs, and you can have the potions. I'll even give you 40 coins in change."

The girl took a step back while hugging her doll, covering her right eye, and trembled as she asked, "Can I pay some other way?"

Lynn said flatly, "Tell me, I'll appraise it."

The girl swallowed hard and trembled as she said, "How about if I let you 'pa pa' me once, will you waive all my bills?"
