Mirstone was just as Kai remembered it. Bar, one small detail. Or, better said, bar a couple of hundred small details.
"Where are the gnomes?" Lin asked the question which plagued Kai as well.
"I have no idea," Kai said, but then he blinked. "You don't think they are still in jail, do you?"
As Kai heard his own question, he facepalmed.
"Of course, they are still in jail. Darn Anita…"
Kai was going to curse up a storm, but he knew that Anita was not to be crossed. The evil gnome lady wanted to see all the gnomes pay for their crimes. The chief one among them being tax evasion.
"Should I get the hamsters?" Lin asked. Sure, that the gnomic police would be no match for undead hamsters. Heck, he was pretty sure that Battlepaws, to whom he was still angry, would be able to break down the entire jail, with the token force which manned it still inside.
