Many would tell you that there are no greater taskmasters than the Spirits of the Natural Order. Karma, as the strongest one, was obviously the worst of them all.
Lin found that out the hard way.
"Don't make a noise! Do you hear me? Don't make a noise!" Lin whispered, as he tried to sneak pass a sleeping giant. The flying pig looked ready to oink, but it held its comment for itself. After all, if it did let out a sound, then it was going to die… again.
Lin looked to the far end of the cave, where Kai and Battlepaws rested in a pan filled with vegetables. It was ironic that the reason why Lin had become a champion of Karma in the first place was going to end up as a giant's dinner.
Battlepaws was normally stronger than that. And Kai… well, Kai had been distracted.
