Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Waiter's

Although Mr. Hitesh held significant importance to the country, the security at this party was exceptionally tight. Soldiers covered in special military-grade armor from top to bottom stood at attention, their faces impassive behind reflective visors. Miss Neha tried not to think much of it, considering the presence of highly important guests. However, Nisha was visibly unsettled by the heightened security measures.

Nisha: Holds Zain's hand tightly "Zain, I feel really nervous about this party! The security looks scary, and I'm getting a really bad feeling about it."

Zain: Hugs his sister tightly "Don't worry, sis! It's for our safety. There's nothing to worry about, and your brother will always protect you no matter what!"

Nisha: Say's calmly while padding zain's head "Alright, now I feel way better thanks to you! Come on, let's go now."

Narrator: The party host, Hithesh, was the most well-known businessman in Bangalore and the 9th richest man in India (originally ranked 6th). However, his fame and wealth were largely attributed to the research conducted by his childhood friend, Revansh.

Despite numerous attempts to offer Zain's father a substantial portion of his wealth for aiding in building the company, Zain's father adamantly refused each time, insisting that the money be directed towards helping the poor instead. And so it was, this reason contributing to his current position as the 9th richest individual in India, previously at the 6th position.

Hitesh: Hitesh greeted them warmly. "Ah, if it isn't Miss Revansh! It's good to see you. I heard Mr. Revansh couldn't make it because of an urgent science fair commitment." He chuckled softly "It's a shame, really, since this party was planned with him in mind."

Neha: Neha's cheeks flushed slightly as she apologized once more "I'm sorry again that he wasn't able to come" she said, her gaze momentarily dropping to the ground "I tried my best to convince him, but he seemed more interested in attending the science meeting."

Hitesh: "It's totally fine! I'm glad that you came along with your kids, making some time from your busy schedule to attend this party makes it worth it." Looks at the kid's "So, do you both hold your hands so tightly everywhere you go?" Says with a soft smile

Hearing his words, the kids gave a small yet bright smile.

Zain: "Oh, we're just very close siblings, always looking out for each other."

Hitesh: Nods understandingly "Ah, I see. You know, I also care about my family as much as you do. It's really sweet to see strong bond's between families." Says while padding Zain's head

Zain: "Thank you Mr. Hitesh" Says while blushing "By the way Mr. Hitesh i have a question. Why is the security so tight? and why don't they have any weapons with them?"

Hitesh: "Well, I didn't want to have such tight security but my son begged me for it so i wasn't able to refuse." Says nervously "And if they carried guns with them, that would just worry our guests for no reason, so we didn't give them any. But don't worry, they are equipped with those special plasma guns that your father created for the military. So please don't think too much about it and come on in, enjoy the party."

As the siblings made their way inside, passing the guards, their mother remained curious about Mr. Hitesh's side of the story.

Neha: Whispers to Mr. Hitesh "Mr. Hitesh, was all of this really necessary?"

Hitesh: Sighs "You're right. This all feels excessive! I don't know how my son even managed to convince me to do it. But even after arranging all the guards, he was still not satisfied."

Neha: "Oh, please, Mr. Hitesh. Don't tell me you did something more than just arranging the guards!"

Hitesh: Stutters Nervously "Oh… Well… He wasn't satisfied until I booked OBSIDIAN!"

Neha: Neha exclaimed in shock, "WHAT?? ARE YOU SERIOUS! You seriously booked that Blacked Eye Devil?!" She paused, her tone filled with disbelief. "Do you even know how expensive and dangerous he is?"

Hitesh: "Yes, I'm aware of how expensive and dangerous he is, and that's precisely the point. He always gets the job done! To avoid the security costs skyrocketing, I only booked him for 2 hours, from the start to the end of the party."

Neha: "Your son must have been crazy to make these requests!"

Hitesh: "Oh, this is nothing! He made even more unimaginable requests, and I had to turn a few down. But please, don't worry about it all and just focus on the party."

As the family made their way into the lavish venue, the siblings concerns about the security were overshadowed by an unsettling feeling that crept down their spines.

Although everything looked perfect, the grandeur of the event was overshadowed by an inexplicable sense of dread lingering in the air.

Nisha: Whispers to Zain "Do you feel that, Zain? Something doesn't feel right."

Zain: Nods in agreement, gripping his sister's hand tighter "Yeah, I feel it too. Let's stick together, okay?"

As they strolled through the lavish hall with their mother, the air filled with the scent of exotic cuisine and lively conversation. They both couldn't shake the sense of being watched.

Zain: Whispers to his sister "I feel someone's keeping an eye on us. Be careful!"

Nisha: Nods, her expression tense "Okay, let's stay close to mom."

Even thought the sibling's couldn't tell who was keeping an eye on them, for some reason Nisha's eyes were going again and again on all the waiters they passed by. Something just felt off about them all.

Before they could ponder further, they heard a loud bang followed by the breaking of glasses.

Waiter: Sincerely apologizing, "I'm really sorry, everyone, for causing a mess. Please forgive my actions. It won't happen again."

Hitesh: Walks calmly towards the waiter "It's fine, don't worry about it too much" Say's as he places his hand on his shoulder "Why don't you go serve sweets to the guests instead while this is getting cleaned?"

Waiter: "Than... thank you, sir, for overlooking my mistake. I will do my best this time." Walks back to the kitchen embarrassed.

As the waiter went back to the kitchen, both Hitesh and Nisha couldn't ignore the fact that he was walking really bizarrely. Hitesh ignored it, thinking either he was tired or nervous, but Nisha knew something was wrong with him.

Nisha: Talking to herself "I've never seen anyone walk like that before. What's wrong with him? Also, every other waiter has their clothes perfectly fitted. Why are his clothes a little untidy?"

Zain: "Hey sis! Everything okay? Were you saying something to me?"

Nisha: "Oh, no no, you must have heard someone else. Let's keep walking with mom."

Nisha was blessed with an amazing memory and an eye as sharp as an eagle's, along with an exceptional intuition.

She noted every minute detail about the waiter for some reason; from his straight hair to his slim physique, his untidy uniform, and his unusual way of walking, along with his name that was attached to his shirt. She just couldn't shake the feeling of unease. She felt a strange aura from the waiter, similar to that of a dying person.

But Before she could ponder further, a stylishly dressed woman approached them, radiating charm and sophistication.
