Qianqian arrived at the Base early that morning.
"First things first," Qianqian muttered, looking over the land. "We'll need specialized buildings and proper storage.
With that she opened her interface Intending to take a look at her points.

Qianqian couldn't help but groan, for someone who excersised every morning, she was running pretty low on Endurance.
She looked at her points balance,"wow, this is quite an amount." She smiled feeling proud of herself.
She had it quite tough, for the first three months she obtained points quite easily, all she needed was a little amount of resources, but as time went on,she needed more and more resources for a good quantity of points.
Her points were previously stuck on a 100,000 points before, the newly acquired weapons skyrocketed it to 170,000. Then the other truckloads of resources earned her a menial amount of 650 points.
Qianqian stood right in front of her house,At her feet, the three cubs—two snow-white tiger cubs and a golden retriever pup—were busy chewing on a thick blanket she had thrown down for them earlier. Despite their playful distractions, Qianqian's focus was razor-sharp.
"Alright, Echo," she said, breaking the silence. "Let's get this base ready. There's no time to waste."
When Qianqian accesses the System Interface, the first thing she notices is the sleek, holographic display that manifests in front of her. It's intuitive and easy to use, with options to upgrade various aspects of her base, acquire new items, and track her progress. The system provides a clean and organized view, broken down into categories like:
House / Shelter Upgrades
Security & Defenses
Resource Management
Storage & Organization
Special Equipment

Currently her house was a modest building structure contained, a living room,a small kitchen, and a bedroom which also happened to be her workspace for now.
She planned to expand it to accommodate her family, wity that she selected house upgrades.

Qianqian took a long look at the options and finally selected the second option, second floor Addition. She didn't have any need for the other options right now.
"Are you sure about this?" Echo's calm, curious voice broke the silence. "A second floor might seem practical, but you're down 20,000 points. What if you need those for emergency upgrades?"
"I've thought it through, Echo," Qianqian replied firmly. "We need more space—if my family ends up here, cramming them into one floor would be a disaster."
Echo hummed thoughtfully. "Fair enough. But don't come crying to me when you're five points short of a reinforced door."
With a smirk, Qianqian pressed the Confirm button. The moment she did, the system's interface shifted.
> Upgrade Initiated: Second Floor Addition
Cost: 20,000 points deducted
Time to Completion: 15 minutes
The house immediately began to hum with energy. The air around Qianqian seemed to thrum as if responding to some unseen force. She stepped back as the system's voice echoed:
> "Initiating structural expansion. Please maintain a safe distance."
"Maintain a safe distance? From what? The walls?" Qianqian muttered under her breath.
Suddenly, the walls seemed to ripple. The sturdy wood and concrete shimmered, bending and stretching upward. It wasn't chaotic; it was precise, as if an invisible hand was stacking and assembling pieces.
The floor beneath her vibrated slightly, and she watched in awe as the ceiling above her began to ascend, revealing beams of polished wood and steel supporting the new structure.
The base expanded vertically with astonishing speed, but it was eerily silent, the construction soundless except for the occasional hum of the system at work.
"I have to admit," Echo said, "it's impressive. You can't find construction this fast in the real world. Imagine if humanity could build like this—no more waiting months for renovations."
Qianqian glanced at the now-visible staircase spiraling elegantly into the new floor. "It's surreal," she agreed. "I just hope it's functional."
"Functional? Sweetheart, this system is smarter than half the humans you know. I doubt it'd leave you with leaky pipes or shoddy wiring."
When the upgrade finished, the system chimed:
> Upgrade Complete. The second floor has been added. New rooms are now available.
Qianqian climbed the freshly constructed staircase, marveling at the sleekness of the design. The second floor was spacious, with five customizable rooms waiting for her input.
"Alright, let's see what we can do with these," Qianqian said, opening the system interface again.
Each room was labeled as Unassigned in the system menu. With Echo's sarcastic input, Qianqian assigned purposes to each:
She walked into each room, they were all spacious, four out of those five rooms were bedrooms, unfortunately none was quite furnished.
The bedrooms were empty while the bathrooms, contained a toilet, a stand up bathroom, and a small sink.
The bedrooms didn't have a single closet so she knew they would have to settle for a wardrobe.
She assigned the biggest room to her parents and the remaining three to herself and her siblings.
The remaining room was to serve as a nursery for the three cubs.
After careful thinking, she cleared the bedroom at the ground floor and reassigned it to Butler Feng.
After assigning the rooms, she went to the store to buy furnitures for the rooms but later decided against it.
She had a lot to do that required points, she would rather buy those furnitures from the city than waste her points on them.
The house was now equipped with a fully functional second floor, complete with rooms tailored to everyone's needs. The staircase had been widened slightly, making it easier to carry supplies or for multiple people to move up and down.
She took a look at her remaining points,
Points Remaining: 150,650
Xu Qianqian stepped out of the newly upgraded house, taking a deep breath as she surveyed the area.
The once modest structure had transformed into a more solid and spacious building, equipped with essentials that promised both comfort and security.
But as her gaze swept across the open space surrounding her, unease settled in her chest. The house stood vulnerable, with nothing but empty land stretching around it.
"This won't do," she muttered, narrowing her eyes. "I need to fortify this place."
The familiar chime of the system echoed in her mind, and a translucent screen appeared before her.
She went straight to the store and kept searching till she found her pick.
Stone Wall with Gate: Medium cost, sturdy and reliable.
"Stone wall with a gate it is," she decided, selecting the option with a determined nod.
[System Notification: Stone Wall with Gate - Confirm Installation? Cost: 1500 Points]
Her finger quickly clicked the confirm button, that was 1500 points gone.
Xu Qianqian stood at the edge of her newly built wall, her gaze sweeping over the vast expanse of land beyond her house. The base was still barren aside from her home, but the potential it held was undeniable.
"This isn't just about surviving," she murmured to herself. "If I'm going to build something that lasts, I need structure, organization."
The system's familiar chime interrupted her thoughts, and a semi-transparent map appeared in front of her, displaying the outline of her current base.
[System Notification: Base Mapping Feature Unlocked]
Use the base map to create and label zones for different purposes. As the base expands, additional land can be integrated and reorganized.
Her lips curled into a small smile. "Finally, something practical."
Qianqian tapped on the map, noting how much space she currently had. The area wasn't enormous yet, but the system's earlier promise of expansion kept her hopeful. She decided to start small, marking out zones to guide her future plans.
"This area closest to the house," she muttered, drawing a box around it with her finger, "will be Zone A: Residential. The house stays here for now, and I'll build accommodations for the others nearby. Maybe some gardens or small yards to make it livable."
Her fingers moved to the lower-left corner of the map. "This will be Zone B: Commercial. A marketplace, trading post, maybe even a workshop or storage depot. Somewhere we can centralize resources and equipment."
She shifted to the opposite side. "Zone C: Defense. This area will hold training grounds, watchtowers, and traps. The outer walls can eventually stretch to encompass it."
Finally, she circled the center of the map. "And here—right in the middle—I'll make Zone D: Core Facilities. The system hub, any power stations, maybe even a water purification plant when the time comes."
Satisfied, she stepped back, reviewing her work. The zones gave her a sense of direction, even if everything was still theoretical.
The system chimed again, offering another update.
[System Notification: Base Expansion Feature Reminder]
As the base upgrades, additional space will be unlocked. Zone boundaries can be adjusted as needed to accommodate new structures or resources.
Qianqian couldn't help but smirk. "It's like a sandbox, but with real stakes. Let's see what I can make of this."
She saved the map and dismissed the screen, already envisioning the base's future. It wasn't just about her survival anymore—it was about creating a safe haven for those she chose to trust.
