Her thoughts are interrupted as Zhu Liang enters the room, his expression grim. "Your Majesty, we have received reports of a new alliance forming in the southern provinces. Several former rebels are meeting with discontented nobles, and there are whispers of another rebellion brewing."
Lin Yuer's eyes narrow, her mind already working through the possibilities. "We cannot allow this to happen. We must strike quickly and decisively before they gain momentum."
Zhu Liang nods. "We have spies in place, but we need to act soon. The longer we wait, the stronger their position becomes."
Lin Yuer stands, her resolve hardening. "Prepare the forces. We will move out within the week. The rebellion will be crushed before it even has a chance to rise."
