The soft rustle of fabric caught Aarav's attention as he waited in the living room, adjusting his cufflinks with slightly impatient fingers. When he looked up, his breath caught in his throat. There stood Nisha, dressed in a stunning, midnight-blue gown that hugged her curves and shimmered faintly under the lights. Her hair was loosely pinned, and a few strands fell gracefully around her face, framing her in a way that took his breath away.
For a long moment, he couldn't find the words, simply admiring her with an intensity that made her cheeks flush.
"Aarav?" she asked softly, breaking the silence with a shy smile.
He took a steadying breath, fighting the immediate urge to close the distance between them. She was his—so beautiful and all his. But tonight, he reminded himself, was about giving her a night to remember.
"You…" He shook his head, eyes tracing over her. "You're breathtaking, Nisha."
A smile played on her lips as she blushed, feeling the depth of his gaze as he took her hand. His grip was firm yet gentle, and with a soft smile, he led her out the door and into the car, his eyes frequently drifting over to her throughout the drive.
They soon arrived at an elegant restaurant, but something was different. Nisha noticed immediately—the usually busy spot was completely empty. She looked at him, eyes wide with surprise. "Aarav… where is everyone?"
A small, playful smile lifted the corner of his mouth. "Tonight, it's just us. I booked the whole place," he replied, his voice warm and inviting.
Nisha's heart skipped a beat as they walked through the empty restaurant, candles lit on every table, casting a soft glow around them. The romantic, quiet ambiance made her feel like she was in a dream.
After they sat down, he ordered for both of them, knowing her favorites by heart. They enjoyed the dinner, laughing and sharing stories, the love between them evident in every glance and smile. Nisha felt a joy bubbling up inside her, an excitement she hadn't felt in a long time. This night felt perfect.
When dinner was over, Aarav stood up and extended his hand to her. "May I have this dance?" he asked, his voice low and warm.
She took his hand, her heart racing as he led her to a small, open space near their table. Music started playing softly, a melody that wrapped around them as they moved. Aarav pulled her close, his arms strong and comforting as he held her, guiding her in gentle steps.
They danced slowly, her head resting against his shoulder as he whispered softly into her ear. "I've been wanting a night like this with you for a long time, Nisha. Just you and me."
She smiled, pulling back slightly to look up at him, her eyes reflecting the warmth of his words. "Thank you, Aarav. For everything. You make me feel like the luckiest woman alive."
His hand came up to gently cup her face, his thumb brushing across her cheek as he gazed down at her. "You are everything to me, Nisha," he said, his voice a tender whisper. "Nothing else matters. Just you."
A slight shiver ran through her as she saw the depth of his love in his eyes, feeling the intensity of his words sink into her heart. She felt cherished, seen, and completely adored.
He pulled her even closer, pressing his forehead to hers as they swayed to the music, his breath warm against her skin. Slowly, he leaned down, brushing his lips softly over hers, savoring the moment. The kiss deepened, the passion between them igniting with every second that passed. For a while, it felt as if time itself had stopped, leaving only the two of them in their little world.
When they finally pulled apart, Aarav smiled, his forehead still resting against hers. "Tonight is just the beginning, Nisha. I promise you, this is just the start of everything I want to give you."
Her heart swelled, and with a soft smile, she wrapped her arms around him, resting in the warmth of his embrace, knowing that no matter what, they were together.
