Umbra had lain sprawled upon the soft grass, the sun filtering through the canopy above. The clearing seemed alive as shadows danced across the ground and the ringing sound of laughter surrounded him. His wives filled the air with mirth-their laughter intertwining with the golden rays.
"Uraume," Umbra called, his voice light yet teasing. "When are you coming back? We're having all this fun without you."
From far away, Uraume's reply reached him through their bond. Her tone was rich and smooth, a melody of love and mischief. "A few weeks, my love. Business first. What's happening there?"
