Chapter 26 - S-She Is Fein's Girlfriend?!

From a distance Claire could see Fein who was walking with a woman who was so beautiful and ideal. She was tall, had a good body and was also cheerful.

"But... Who is she?" he muttered.

"Hmn what's wrong, Claire?" asked Dior while watching Claire. Seeing that Claire was silently staring in one direction, he looked in the direction he was looking. "That's... Fein, right? He's on a date?"

"Dating?!" said Claire in surprise.

"Y-yes. You don't have to be that surprised," replied Dior who was somewhat surprised by Claire's reaction.

"Judging from what that woman did, they seem to be on a date. Fein isn't a man who likes to get close to women, right? If he let that woman hug his arm, she could be his girlfriend."

Claire fell silent at Dior's words. A lover? Fein had a lover? If he could remember, when Fein dated Reina, he never got close to Reina. But this time was different, he looked relaxed alone with that woman.

"So he already has a girlfriend," he muttered softly.

"Hey look, they went to a clothing store!"

Fein and the woman entered a women's clothing shop, out of curiosity, Claire followed them and saw what they were doing.

"The clothes here are really nice. I feel like buying them all!"

"Do you have that much money to buy everything?" Fein asked the woman.

"If I don't have enough money, I'll use yours!" she replied casually and picked out the clothes.

Fein just sighed and sat on the chair while waiting for the woman to choose her clothes. Claire continued to watch silently, Dior invited Claire to just leave but Claire refused.

He wanted to know who the woman was with Fein, even though he seemed to already know the answer.

They waited near the dressing room, the woman changed her clothes several times and showed them to Fein.

"How do you like this dress? It looks pretty on me, doesn't it?"

"Not bad," Fein commented.

"Hmnn... How about this one?" She went back into the dressing room to change into her other clothes.

"So-so."

While waiting for her to change, Fein was busy with his cell phone. Claire did not understand why Fein was still so cold to the woman who was his lover? Shouldn't he be more warm and caring?

"That's strange... But is that really his nature?" Claire said softly.

"Maybe he doesn't really care about his girlfriend. He's a strange man," Dior replied.

"Excuse me, how may I help you?" said a store employee approaching the two of them.

Claire and Dior reflexively turned their heads and were at a loss as to what to answer. They were two men, inside a women's clothing store staring at the dressing room like two perverts who wanted to peek inside.

"Umn... I was... Looking for a dress for my sister. Yes, my sister has a birthday coming up, so we were looking for clothes for her here," Claire replied looking for an excuse.

"I see. May I help you, how old is your sister? I'll find her clothes according to her age."

"She's... 14 years old. But she's quite tall, almost the size of a 15-year-old."

"Ohh... 14 to 15 years old huh? Then this way." The clerk showed the two of them the way to follow him.

Neither Claire nor Dior had any intention of buying any clothes. But they had no other choice and didn't want to be considered weird by being there without choosing any clothes. So they were forced to follow her.

However, Claire was tempted to buy the clothes that were shown to him. He knows his sister, Valerie's style very well. So he wanted to buy one for her. "The clothes here are nice, they're not expensive either. I think I'll buy one for Val."

"She'll be very happy."

Claire's head nodded and picked out the clothes he wanted to buy. He saw a red dress, the same color as Valerie's eyes. When Claire was about to take it, his hand came into contact with the hand of someone who also wanted to take the dress.

"Excuse me! I'll be the first to see it!" said Claire, raising his head to look at whoever also wanted the dress.

To his surprise, it turned out to be the woman Fein was currently dating, soon Fein came after and stood near the woman.

"F-Fein..."

"There you are, what are you doing here? And why are you holding a woman's dress? You intend to buy them to wear, huh?" asked Fein in a teasing tone.

"No! I don't wear women's clothes, after all it's none of your business whether I'm here or not, is it?"

Fein only paused at Claire's answer then his eyes glanced at Dior who was standing behind him. "Hmn... You guys are on a date apparently."

"Dating? No! We're not on a date. Not like you two," Claire replied.

"I'm dating?"

"Yes, then what do you consider your girlfriend?" pointed Claire at the woman.

She tightly hugged Fein's hand because she was upset about not getting the dress Claire had picked up earlier. Fein glanced at her. "That's right, I'm on a date. I almost forgot about my own girlfriend."

"Fein, he took my dress! I want that one!"

"You can choose another one. Let him get that dress anyway, instead of him just holding a stupid stuffed squirrel like a kid."

Claire looked at the stuffed squirrel he was holding. "Heh, at least I like and appreciate what others give me."

"Never mind Claire, we'd better get going. Let's continue on our way," Dior said.

"Yes, you're right. Have fun with your boyfriend." Claire turned around and pulled Dior's hand away leaving Fein with his girlfriend.

"What's wrong with these two? It's so strange. You know a lot of strange people, Fein," she commented.

Fein was again silent as he stared at Claire who left while holding Dior's hand. His eyes continued to follow them until they finally disappeared from his sight.

After paying for the dress, Dior and Claire left and looked for a place to eat. Claire didn't seem to be in the mood anymore, he wanted to go home immediately and throw himself onto the bed. I don't know why his energy suddenly disappeared after that brief argument.

Even though it was just a small thing and not the big fuss they used to make almost every day. Claire let out a long sigh which made Dior turn his head and realize what happened.

"Hey, there's no need to be like that. Just forget what he said. Just think of him as a passing wind," he said comforting Claire.

"Maybe you're right. I'm taking this too far."

"Smile, oh maybe food can cheer you up again. Over there, there's a restaurant that's pretty quiet. Come on Claire!"

The man simply nodded and followed Dior even though he still did not understand why he felt so disappointed that day.
