The morning before New Year's Eve, Claire and Fein take Valerie to the station to go home to Mocoado. Valerie got on the train and Claire and Fein walked back to their house.
"Are you leaving early?" asked Claire as they walked home hand in hand.
"Yes, I have to leave at 6pm to prepare things at the cafe. There will be a lot of couples spending New Year's Eve there because of the discounted dinner together. So many are renting tables before tonight," Fein explained.
"I see, then I'll make dinner at 5 so that you can have dinner first."
As they were about to leave the station, Claire took Fein to buy some warm bread at a shop near the station. It happened to be a cold day, so they bought warm bread to warm themselves up.
"One blueberry flavor, Fein what flavor do you want?" Claire asked.
"I'll have the chocolate flavor," he replied.
The baker's is an old lady, she took their order and gave it to them. "Are you lovers?" she asked.
