"If I was ever asked how and where I became the strongest human to ever exist in this world. I probably wouldn't be able to give a detailed reply.
It just happened, I was here, and the next thing I knew, I had already built the strongest party in the whole of the seven continents.
Of course, it's much better to experience it yourself, so I'll let you do that."
The man sat down on a small rock, his eyes fixed in the sunset.
Behind him were seven woman, flanking each side.
"This is how I become the strongest in the world...with my overpowered harem of course."
...
(New state land, central capital.)
Gideon Roberto was seated on his chair in his office, he had a book on one hand, on the other, a pen he was calmly spinning.
'How I killed my love interest.' was the title of the light novel be was reading.
It followed the story of a weak MC who explained how every single one of his harem members died due to how weak he was to protect them.
Each of them died in his hands, some running away to another man to stay alive, it was everything a man could fear. Soon, the mc fell into depression from being unable to keep anyone around him safe.
The failed hero.
Of course, the book got a lot of negative remarks about the book being bad and boring. Some saying the author was simply a cock for letting his MC's love interest get taken so easily by other men.
The case was different for Gideon.
Being a successful 21 year old manga artist for one of the biggest studios in Korea, he found the story rather unique, and so potential in it.
In such a way that he felt he could fix it.
The author clearly had issues and implemented it wrongly in the book.
Luckily for Gideon, the book was getting an adaptation and his studio was running it.
He spoke with the author and was granted the pass to change little aspects of the story.
But there was one problem -
"Why does no one else want to work on this story with me?!!!" He screamed, allowing almost everyone in the work place to hear his voice.
"Tsk! The book isn't all that bad, if anything, I feel it has a good story line, forced— but good. A few fixes here and there, and I know it will be perfect." He sighed.
'Though to be honest, I can understand why they are feeling reluctant. The light novel already has a bad reputation in the community, there's a huge chance even after we put in all our efforts, it will end up failing. I can't deny I fear the same thing.'
Gideon took a deep breath, placing the book on the table.
"Still! I already promised the author I would make this story very interesting! I'll be damned if I go back on my words."
He picked his ink, setting up his drawing tab and every other piece of equipment he needed.
"I'll finish up the draft today, even if it kills me!"
Little did he know, those were going to be his last words.
...
[Host has died.]
[Soul transfer has been completed.]
[Congratulations on your reincarnation to your new world.]
Gideon opened his eyes, only to find himself lying down on the cold hard floor.
'Eh?'
'Hold on, what happened...?'
He sat up right, scanning his environment for a while.
Surrounding him were hard cobblestone walls and burning lanterns. Scattered on the floor were broken weapons and torn clothes.
'Chill, let's think this over...'
He placed his hand under his jaw, his legs crossed and eyes closed.
'Okay, I was drawing the last panel of the manga, when I fell asleep. I was sure I woke up though... what did I see?'
Gideon titled his head to the side, remembering what he saw.
It was a glowing individual...patting him on the back while he was asleep.
Then after...
—Gbammm!_
Gideon gripped his head and looked to the ceiling, "That bastard stabbed me in the head!!!"
"I was murdered in cold blood without any witnesses whatsoever..." He looked up ahead, "Does that mean I am currently in some kind of heaven?".
[Negative.]
[After death, the host reincarnated as the leader of the growing party Dancing corpse— Rashin Wilson, also known as Chaos.]
Rashin's eyes widened.
'Rashin Wilson? You mean the main character of the novel I was working on? I actually reincarnated? Like in stories?'
Pfft!
He stood up.
'Literally any other explanation will make more sense right now...'
Suddenly -
"Rashin!!!"
A very beautiful and soothing voice called out to him.
On one hand, he could see a stricking beautiful lady dressed in a pink dress, red shorts and top. Her fists were wrapped in bandages as she raced towards him.
And on the other hand, he was surprised as to how he got so familiar with a stranger calling him Rashin.
'Aren't I getting a bit to comfortable with this?'
He fully turned to face the girl ahead towards him.
Once she arrived at this front, she immediately went low to catch her breath.
"R..ashin..." She panted, "I was looking everywhere for you, thank the gods."
'This should be a good thing right? I know for a fact this is the first time I'm meeting this girl, but I very well know who she is...'
Rashin whispered to himself with a serious expression.
Filo Granzra, one of the first females Rashin ran into on his journey to become the strongest hunter. She was nice, caring, and a bit overprotective.
Rashin remembered she was in love with Rashin at this, the main character of this novel at some point in the original story. Though it soon became irrelevant since her death marked a major turning point.
"Rashin? Are you alright?" Asked Filo, raising her head a bit to get a good look at his face.
Still handling the serious expression, Rashin replied, "Which dungeon are we currently on right now?" He asked.
"Dungeon? The S-67 dungeon, have you forgotten? Wa..." Filo placed her hand on Rashin's forehead, "Could it be you're hurt?"
"No...just wanted to be sure..." Rashin smiled for a while, his gaze then drifting behind her.
'Now I remember. If I'm correct, this is the part of the story where Filo dies. S-67 dungeon. Rashin and Filo initially considered it a class D dungeon, at least that was what they thought untill...'
His gaze picked up on the monster at a distance...
'the C rank monster appeared. The minotaur.'
