Betrayed by Blood~
A growl reached her ears just before she was thrown to the ground. She gasped as the sharp claws of a wolf dug into her shoulders harshly. Its eyes filled with only one hatred she recognized instantly.
Martha.

Avery froze, her chest pounding hard as Martha's wolf loomed over her, its eyes dark with malice. She could feel the heat of its breath on her neck, every muscle in her body tensed with fear. She knew she couldn't fight back—she was too weak, too alone. She was truly done for.
"Weak fucking bitch. You can't run now, can you?" Martha sneered.
Avery trembled, she squeezed her eyes shut, hoping, praying for some miracle to save her from this situation she had somehow landed herself in.
Suddenly, a voice broke the silence.
"Martha," Kendra's voice came through the mind-link, her voice filled with panic. "I saw Alpha Cain. He's coming."
