Clementine Jones hated getting mail.

Bills, junk, offers from credit card companies she'd never applied to nothing good ever came from it. So when she opened her apartment door one foggy morning and found a single brown envelope on her welcome mat. It wasn't till she saw the return address that she stopped.

There, in faded ink was the name

"Thomas Jones"

Her grandfather.

Clementine breath caught. She hadn't seen her grandfather in twenty years. So why was this letter in her hand. Clementine shallowed, glancing around her small apartment building as if expecting someone to jump out and tell her it's a prank. She tore opened the brown envelope pulling out the white sheet of paper inside. The ink was faint but she could make out the words.
