Upon hearing Majorlow's words, Lacey instantly grasped her grandfather's intent.
"Should we notify Ghostshade and Centipede about this?" she inquired.
"Discarded pawns have no value. Let them destroy each other," Majorlow mused for a moment before continuing. "As for Shura, you may sell his intelligence to Z Nation. In doing so, we ensure that Z Nation owes our family a favor, paving the way for smoother ventures there in the future."
In Majorlow's eyes, every action held a calculable value. Betraying Shura by handing over his information to Z Nation was, in his view, a masterful move. After all, Z Nation was a burgeoning superpower. Should the opportunity arise, Majorlow wouldn't hesitate to devour it whole.
Lacey nodded in understanding. "Should we acquire pawns from M Nation or seek them from other countries?"
Rising with a faint smile, Majorlow replied, "I'll leave the selection to you. With most of M Nation's governance already under our sway, I trust you'll make the right choice."

**At the Forefront International Tower, Magic City**
When Xu Que feigned a nonchalant return after supposedly completing his tasks, Luon and Bell greeted him with practiced smiles.
"Mr. Xu Que, please don't be upset. Bell didn't mean it that way…"
Xu Que waved dismissively, cutting them off. "Didn't mean it? Then what exactly did he mean? You wanted to flaunt your strength, didn't you? It's a good thing I was busy all night. Otherwise, this mess might've been pinned on me."
Bell, sensing the discontent in Xu Que's tone, hastily began apologizing with an air of genuine contrition.
Only after an extended string of compliments did Xu Que finally pretend to let it go, nodding in apparent satisfaction.
Relieved, Luon ventured, "Mr. Xu Que, shall we leave now?"
"No more drama to watch?" Xu Que teased.
"The attempt failed," Luon replied curtly.
"Well then, if that's the case, there's no point in staying." Xu Que stripped off his soiled shirt, casually adding, "Wait here; I need to report to Ms. Shen before we leave. After all, I'd like to get closer to this beauty in the future."
Neither Luon nor Bell objected. To them, once Xu Que boarded the plane to Y Nation, he'd never return. After all, their home turf would become his prison.
What they couldn't foresee was that their decisions today would doom the Chaisfield family to oblivion.

**Second Floor Meeting Room**
When Xu Que entered, Shen Mengchu was engrossed in her work.
The entirety of the Exploding Heavens Hunter Company now ran on her shoulders, while Xu Que had become the epitome of an absentee boss.
"They didn't suspect you?" Shen Mengchu asked without looking up.
"No, but I've found a breakthrough," Xu Que replied with a sly smile.
"Oh? What kind of breakthrough?" Her curiosity piqued, Shen Mengchu finally looked up, her eyes gleaming with interest.
For Shen Mengchu, the Chaisfield family was like an enormous whale; finding a weak spot on such a behemoth was no easy feat.
Without withholding anything, Xu Que recounted his actions in detail.
Upon hearing about Fang Xiu's true nature, Shen Mengchu's eyes widened with shock. Like an inquisitive child, she bombarded Xu Que with questions, much to his exasperation.
Here he was, discussing flaws in the Chaisfield family's operations, yet she seemed more fascinated by the personal drama.
"You're leaving this afternoon, right? Who knows how long you'll be gone…" Shen Mengchu's voice grew softer, trailing off into near silence.
Thanks to his heightened senses, Xu Que caught her meaning. He also knew what she wanted, and he wasn't about to waste such an intimate moment.
Knowing that his trip to Y Nation might last weeks, if not months, he decided to make the most of their time together.
As Shen Mengchu shyly leaned into his embrace, Xu Que's self-restraint crumbled.
---
The room was charged with passion, their shared emotions finally breaking free. Xu Que couldn't help but marvel at Shen Mengchu's allure—it surpassed even Liang Jinyu's. Her presence was a balm to his soul, different from any other woman in his life.
By the time their passion ebbed, their relationship had taken an irrevocable step forward.
"I was just thinking about how to take down the Chaisfield family quickly so I can return to you," Xu Que said, his tone earnest.
"Sweet talker," Shen Mengchu murmured, pinching his arm playfully.
Xu Que planted a tender kiss on her forehead. "Rest for a while. I need to leave now; otherwise, they might grow suspicious."
"Be careful," she whispered.
---
As Xu Que descended to the lobby, his phone buzzed with an incoming message.
Seeing Liang Jinyu's name on the screen, he couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
"Repairman, you're so heartless! Spending your last moments with the first wife while leaving the second wife all alone. Scoundrel!"
Xu Que chuckled helplessly. Glancing up, he spotted Liang Jinyu waving at him from the second floor, her playful grin unmistakable.
Suppressing a laugh, he quickly typed out a reply:
"Time was short. When I return, I'll make sure to *fix* everything properly. No more leaks!"
Liang Jinyu's response came almost instantly:
"Which pipe will you fix first?"
Xu Que nearly choked, stifling his laughter.
"Each has its merits; they're all treasures to me. No comparisons needed."
Reading his diplomatic reply, Liang Jinyu smiled, her lips curving into a satisfied arc.
"Smart answer, kid."

Outside the Forefront International Tower, Luon and Bell waited patiently.
"Mr. Xu Que, is everything settled?" Bell asked with a polite smile.
"Yes, we can leave now," Xu Que replied, matching their civility.

**Forty Minutes Later, Magic City Airport**
As Xu Que followed Luon and Bell toward the private jet waiting on the runway, he couldn't help but admire the Chaisfield family's immense wealth.
Had it not been for the arrival of the Abyss, their family might have remained the wealthiest on Blue Star.
"Mr. Xu, shall we board?" Luon invited.
"Of course," Xu Que replied with a smile, casting a final glance back at the Forefront International Tower.
Moments later, the jet ascended, leaving Magic City behind.
