After reviewing all the drops from Kromagus, Xu Que was thoroughly pleased.

Four pieces of equipment, four materials!

"Find some time and make sure to hasten the forging and array improvements!"

Xu Que stretched lazily, gazing up at the vast celestial billboard before turning his attention to the final two items obtained from the anchor point space.

**Name: Survivor Xius Kuland's Journal (Unopened)**

**Quality: Rough (Gray)**

**Reading Material: One of the last belongings of survivor Xius Kuland.**

"Could this be related to the forbidden treasures again?"

Xu Que thought, his curiosity piqued, and began to open it.

"To the fated one, by opening this parchment, you have already confirmed that I, Xius Kuland, am dead."

"Though I do not know who initiated this catastrophe, I am certain that Doderlan no longer exists."

"Enough with the preliminaries, I shall now get to the point."

"Fated one, while the forbidden treasures are many, have you truly understood their origins? And why are they called forbidden treasures?"

"Truth be told, I do not know the answers to these questions either, for I, too, am in search of the answer!"

"In the past, I was obsessed with forbidden items, but I later discovered there are not ten, but twelve forbidden treasures!"

Xu Que, initially speechless, found himself in a daze after reading this.

His disbelief came from the fact that the writer did not even know what these forbidden relics were, let alone the treasures' origins...

Yet, what stunned him was that he only knew of eight solutions—how could there be four more unknowns?

"Perhaps you are confused at this point, but I must tell you that there are indeed twelve treasures. As for the final one, I failed to acquire it. However, I can tell you that the treasure lies in the underground vault of the Rehamans Estate."

"The first nine solutions have been detailed, all can be found at the Roewikas Church, if you're fated, the treasure will be yours once you uncover it."

Upon seeing the mention of Roewikas Church, Xu Que's expression twitched. Wasn't that the dimensional space he had visited with Duan Jiude in his previous life?

"Concerning the remaining methods, I've left them inscribed on the crystal board. I hope you can unlock that forbidden treasure—Xius Kuland, the Forbidden Scholar, wrote his last words."

Xu Que sighed in silence, offering a moment of respect for the treasure hunter.

As for the "scholar," Xu Que thought it was just a noble title for a thief.

Throwing the parchment into his inventory, he then examined the last item.

**Name: Crystal Simulation Board (Unopened)**

**Quality: Epic (Golden)**

**Active: Once activated, it allows the user to read the forbidden simulation method.**

**Passive: After each simulation, mental power increases by one-thousandth.**

**Miscellaneous Item: Stolen from the Tomb of Tang, an artifact of Xius Kuland, one of his final possessions.**

"Damn, I'm just a petty thief, but this guy... he's a big-time thief!" Xu Que grumbled, excitedly activating the Crystal Simulation Board.

As a pale azure light flickered, Xu Que's consciousness instantly entered the simulation world.

The sight of this mystical spiritual realm left him utterly astounded.

But within moments, he found the ninth forbidden simulation method.

Seeing the densely packed lines of simulation text, Xu Que quickly memorized it and withdrew from the spiritual world.

Comparing it to the calculation methods of that era, Xu Que could not agree. However, he knew there was something called mathematical calculation now.

After quickly working through the equations on the ground, Xu Que soon understood the ninth forbidden mode.

He didn't re-enter the crystal world. Given the importance of other matters, he had plenty to focus on.

Upon entering the third-floor lounge, Xu Que found Kun Shao and the others excitedly watching Zhao Xian.

At this moment, Zhao Xian wasn't holding the Burning Blade but a long sword enveloped in white mist.

The blade wasn't as wide as the Burning Blade but was of a normal size, yet its presence was far more terrifying.

"Hey, Xu Ge's here!" Kun Shao quickly called out.

The others turned and greeted him with smiles.

"Good day, Xu President!" Huang Bo and the others said in unison.

Xu Que nodded, glancing at the white blade in Zhao Xian's hands, asking, "What grade is it?"

"S-Class, Illusory Spirit," Zhao Xian replied.

"Quite good. As the leader of this team, you can now take a team out by yourself," Xu Que said, nodding with approval.

"Xu Ge, can you give me the Burning Blade?" Kun Shao eagerly asked.

"You won't make the rankings. During the testing, the blade's owner was already designated as Zhao Xian's, so you can forget about exploiting any loopholes," Xu Que quipped, instantly puncturing Kun Shao's thoughts.

Upon hearing Xu Que's words, Huang Bo and the others understood immediately.

They had all thought of such a scheme, only to have their dreams shattered.

"All right, you'll each head out with your respective teams. This mission will be tough, and if the officials make any unreasonable demands, don't worry about it. I'll handle everything," Xu Que said.

"Xu Ge, I'm heading to the harbor district. Don't you have anything for me?" Kun Shao asked.

"Not at the moment," Xu Que replied helplessly.

"Then, can you at least give me a dozen spirit crystals?" Kun Shao pressed.

Xu Que rolled his eyes and retorted, "Everyone thinks that increasing cultivation will give them combat power, but without solid techniques, you'll still lack the strength to fight properly."

Kun Shao paused, while Zhao Xian and the others considered this.

"Even if I give you A-grade cultivation, you can only display B-grade power because your technique hasn't kept up. What you need to focus on now is upgrading your technique."

"I gave you resources ahead of time so you can improve your techniques, because the more proficient you become, the stronger your attacks will be."

After hearing this, Zhao Xian and the others immediately turned their attention to the two techniques they were practicing.

Initially, they planned to learn more, but Xu Que had told them that in a few days, they would receive Celestial-grade techniques, making the lower-grade ones unnecessary.

"Xu President, how far should we upgrade the Earth-grade techniques?" Qi Shan asked.

"Just get comfortable with them. Once you raise your cultivation, you'll be able to unleash A-grade power," Xu Que replied.

"Got it. We'll focus on our techniques during the ride, so we'll be more prepared when we face those strange creatures," Qi Kai said.

Xu Que nodded in satisfaction, handing out the prepared materials to everyone.

"Remember, when you reach your destination, show no mercy—kill the strange creatures, nothing more."

"Yes!"

After a few more instructions, Xu Que saw them off.

As Xu Que was about to head to the first-floor hall to check on the third team, his peripheral vision caught sight of a familiar figure.

"Is it a coincidence?" Xu Que scratched his head.

But the moment he blinked, the person dashed in from a distance and quickly entered the security room!

Xu Que's eyes narrowed, a cold smile playing on his lips.

"So it's him!"

He didn't immediately head for the security room. Though he was eager for revenge, some matters required more careful investigation. This person was just a lackey, and to find out who was behind him, thorough investigation was needed!
