Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Symphony of Parallel Worlds

Emily Stewart stood on the streets of New York, where neon lights and busy traffic constituted the city's never-night symphony. As a talented music producer, her life is full of rhythm and melody, but tonight, she felt unprecedented fatigue. Having just ended a fierce copyright lawsuit, her victory did not bring the expected joy, but instead made her tired of the cruel competition in this industry.

She walked aimlessly, playing the latest pop songs in her headphones, trying to find a little comfort in the music. Suddenly, a dazzling light cut through the night sky, followed by a deafening roar. Emily looked up and saw a strange beam of light falling from the sky and hitting her directly.

In a blur of consciousness, she felt herself being pulled by an invisible force and traveling through the endless darkness. When she opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on an unfamiliar grass, the sky was a strange purple, and the air was filled with a scent she had never smelled before.

Emily struggled to stand up. Her clothes became tattered, and her mobile phone and all modern devices were gone. She looked around and found herself in a medieval city with cobblestone streets, Gothic buildings, and pedestrians wearing strange clothes.

Just as she was wondering where this place was, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her head, and a memory suddenly flooded into Emily's mind.

It turned out that this was a planet called Blue Star. The people here had almost the same living environment and lifestyle as humans living on Earth, and the owner of this body was also called Emily Stewart.

Although she didn't know why she came here, Emily soon realized that she might have come to a parallel world.

She was filled with panic, but soon her musician instincts began to take effect. She noticed from the memory of this body that the music of this world was completely different from what she knew, and the people here were far behind on Earth in their understanding and use of melody and rhythm.

Emily decided to use her music knowledge to survive in this new world.

Just then, the sound of musical instruments came from a square not far away. A group of young people who love music were trying hard to perform their own music.

Although many people stopped to listen to the music performed by this group of young people and listened to it with fascination, in Emily's ears, such music was like a lullaby she heard in her childhood.

Emily instantly realized that this was a great opportunity, so she trotted closer to the group of young people who were immersed in their own music.

When their lead singer Ike saw a very beautiful girl walking towards them, Ike thought Emily was attracted by their melody, so he performed even harder.

But what he didn't expect was that Emily walked right in front of him and stopped their performance.

The other members looked at Ike and Emily in confusion, not knowing what happened.

"What happened? What do you want to do?" Ike asked.

The crowd standing by and watching had the same doubts at this time, and began to talk: "This girl is really rude, how can she interrupt other people's performances casually?"

Emily listened to everyone's discussion without showing any anxiety. Instead, she slowly said to Ike, "I have a very good song, but I can't find a suitable partner to collaborate with. I wonder if you can help me play this song?"

But things didn't go as smoothly as Emily imagined. What she didn't know was that the band standing in front of her was a modern band famous throughout the blue star.

Ike is the leader of this band. Faced with Emily's question, Ike did not take it seriously. After all, people like him will become the object of support for everyone no matter where they appear.

Things like this happen all the time, and there are so many people who want to rely on Ike's fame to become famous, so they immediately understand what is going on.

At this time, the crowd next to them began to curse, accusing Emily that she should not do such a thing for her own selfishness. If everyone did this, then Ike and his band would have countless So much trouble that they have no more time to create better music.

"I'm sorry, if you're just like others who want to use me as a stepping stone to reach a higher position, then I don't have time to do these boring things with you. But if you really have a good work, I don't mind completing it with you. After all, music has no class." Ike's voice was calm. Although he hated those who wanted to use his fame to become famous, he was also a person who loved music very much, so he was always willing to give others such opportunities.

"But I can only give you ten minutes. If your work doesn't satisfy me, I don't mind asking you to go away." Before Emily had time to answer Ike, Ike's voice came again.

"Trust me, I will surprise you." Emily smiled at Ike, walked to the piano beside her and started to modify the music score.

Watching Emily carefully revising the music score, Ike could feel that Emily was not someone who wanted to become famous just to borrow his fame. At this moment, he only hoped that Emily's work would be as good as she said.

As the leader of the band, Ike only needed a few words to quiet down the members who had been very dissatisfied with Emily just now, but the onlookers nearby did not think so.

"Little girl, you should be down-to-earth and not always think of taking shortcuts."

"Girls nowadays will do anything to become famous."

"If she were my daughter, I would definitely break her legs and not let her embarrass herself here."

"....."

After hearing what these people said, Emily did not get angry, but wrote more seriously. Everyone thought she was modifying Ike's music score, but in fact she was writing a completely different song.

During this time, some people continued to curse, while others began to look forward to what kind of music Emily would write.

Ten minutes passed quickly, and Emily confidently handed her work to Ike. When Ike saw the sheet music Emily handed over, his eyes widened in a short while. He knew that this would be a song that would soon become famous throughout the Blue Star.
