Chapter 17 - Chapter 16

The waves of the ocean roared, and a small boat was floating in the sea against the tides.

Arata stood on the bow of the boat, the sea breeze against his body making him feel refreshed.

"Seeing this scene before my eyes, I just want to compose a poem," Arata sighed inwardly.

"Compose a poem?" Kushina was stunned and asked in surprise, "You can also compose a poem? Come on and let me listen to it!"

"Ocean, you are all water! Toad, you have four legs!" Arata blurted out without hesitation.

Kushina fell into silence, and there was no movement for an instant.

"What do you think? My poem is pretty good, isn't it?" Arata looked around the sea and said proudly.

"The poem makes me moan, but please stop moaning." Kushina's head was covered with black lines, and the corners of her mouth couldn't help but twitch slightly.

You shouldn't have expectations for this brat, what a god!

"Master Arata, please take care of your health." Mrs. Uzumaki Rina walked toward Arata, wearing a lavender kimono while raising the oil-paper umbrella she was holding to shield him from the sun.

"Did I not tell you to call me sir?" Arata glanced at her helplessly and said, "Besides, you are also my best friend. We are equals."

"Yes, Lord Arata." Mrs. Rina nodded respectfully, with a soft smile on her face.

"It's like I am talking to a ghost!" Arata took a breath and said with a distressed look on his face, "I've been talking about feelings for the past two days, but you haven't listened at all!"

"Hahahaha, I am going to laugh to death!" Kushina started gloating at his suffering and laughed, "Do you still want to compose poetry now?"

"I want to jump into the sea." Arata looked aggrieved.

"Hey, is that a country in front of us?" Uzumaki Karin pointed to the looming buildings ahead and said with excitement, "Is that our destination?"

"Yeah, right." Arata nodded slightly.

He had never been to the Land of Waves before, but according to the map that guided them, they should be on the right route.

Why go to the Land of Waves?

Firstly, it was to complete the task assigned to him by Hiruzen Sarutobi before he left the village.

He was tasked to find out if there were any ninja activities from other villages in the Land of Waves.

Secondly, he wanted Rina and Karin to settle down in this place.

Arata had no intention of taking them back to Konoha. With the level of filthiness of Konoha's high-level officials, taking them back would be like rescuing them out of a tiger's den and leading them into a wolf's den.

The Land of Waves was also very strong.

Arata's most trusted person was also taking refuge in the Land of Waves.

"Nono..."

Kushina sighed and said softly, "I didn't expect that so many things would happen after Minato and I died. This guy Danzo really played his cards really badly."

She and the dean Nono were old acquaintances, and when she was alive, they would often talk with each other whenever they met.

During the time of the Fourth Hokage, Danzo was not as active as he was now.

At that time, with the help of Minato, the relationship between the Uchiha clan and Konoha had eased a lot, and the Root ninjas had almost disappeared from the public.

But when Minato and Kushina died and Hiruzen Sarutobi returned to power, the situation took a turn for the worse; everything they worked for was destroyed.

The Root expanded rapidly, the Uchiha clan was exterminated, and ninjas like Yakushi Nono, who were loyal to Konoha, were forced to live in secret, hiding from their own people.

This was really like what Arata said: the real cancer of Konoha was the rulers of Konoha!

They absorbed the nourishment of Konoha like leeches to make themselves stronger, which also led to the further destruction of Konoha!

"It doesn't matter, I'm not on Konoha's side anyway." Arata spread his hands.

"Hey, do you still want to continue your plan to transform the world?" Kushina asked.

"Why? Don't you want to?"

"But didn't you save Rina from those people now?"

"It's just that Mrs. Rina was rescued, but this disgusting and dirty world has not changed." Arata raised his head and said calmly, "If we don't solve the problem from the root, things like this will still happen again."

Kushina said nothing; she knew Arata was right.

This child was obviously about the same age as her son, but his vision was deeper than that of most people in the whole ninja world!

Sometimes Kushina would feel very strange listening to the boy. She would always think, 'Why does Arata know so much?'

The Ninja School would definitely not teach these "treasonous and unethical" topics to kids, and even the Third Hokage might not be able to understand some of the theories put forward by Arata.

In addition, the strange "curses" that would occur on him from time to time—it all made Kushina feel like this young man's whole body was shrouded in fog, making him hard to understand but impossible not to be curious about.

(T/N: Nah, I don't want to explore! Sigh, sometimes I feel that these authors who always use these same lines are very narcissistic. I mean, who thinks like that? They just make every woman a brainless loving fool or a woman who likes to court death.)

"Hey, does the Country of Waves actually have such tall buildings?" Mrs. Rina's confused voice interrupted Kushina's reverie, and everyone on the boat turned their eyes to the location she pointed to.

(T/N: "….")

A strange cylindrical "house" caught everyone's eyes. It was shiny and exuding cold air; they could see it clearly right under the sunlight.

"Is that Ice Release?" Kushina, a well-informed person, asked in surprise.

"I'm going to take a look, but don't get close yet." Arata frowned lightly and jumped onto the water with chakra attached to his feet.
