Chapter 15.
In the office, Richard doesn't feel too good after what had transpired between him and Mia the previous day. He hated the fact that he was the only one that admitted the feelings, which turned out to be one-sided.
Now it was time to return home, but he was scared of facing Mia again. What if she avoided him?
He was having those thoughts when Madam June's call came in. Immediately, his body shook with fear as his heart raced higher than before.
Not because Madam June had called him, but because he was aware that her reason for calling might be related to Mia.
After contemplating like a century, he took the bold step and picked up the call. The feelings are strange, and he couldn't fathom why he became so submissive.
"Hello, is there anything you want?" Richard asked as soon as the phone line connected.
There is Silence at the other end of the phone before Madam June manages to speak out. "Is something wrong Sir?"
