The night was peaceful. After dinner, the entire family retired to their respective rooms. It was the first time in days that Ankit's house felt so lively. The next morning, sunlight streamed through the windows, filling the house with warmth. The aroma of tea wafted through the air as Richa and Madhu busied themselves in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Sharvan Uncle sat in the balcony, sipping tea and reading the newspaper.
Ankit stepped out of his room and walked toward the kitchen. Seeing him, Richa smiled and said, "Brother, get ready. Breakfast is almost done." Ankit gave a faint smile and went to freshen up. A few minutes later, everyone sat down together for breakfast.
During the meal, Sharvan Uncle started a conversation, "Ankit, this is the time for you to focus on your studies and career. I'm so proud of the hard work you're putting in. Richa is also doing well in her studies. But I feel it's time for you both to stay together."
Ankit listened carefully but remained silent. Richa chimed in, "I feel the same, Uncle. I want to stay with Ankit Bhaiya. I don't want to be alone anymore." Hearing this, Ankit looked at Richa and noticed a distinct sparkle in her eyes.
Sharvan Uncle said, "Richa, your studies will be complete in just two months. I'll talk to Deshmukh, the principal there, to get permission for your transfer. I'm sure he won't say no."
After breakfast, everyone got ready to leave. Ankit walked them to the door. As Sharvan Uncle, Madhu, and Richa started getting into the car, Richa suddenly ran back and hugged Ankit tightly. She said, "Bhaiya, I don't want to go back. I want to stay here."
Ankit held her close for a moment, his eyes brimming with emotions, but he quickly composed himself. He gently stroked her head and said, "Finish your studies first. After that, we'll always be together."
With teary eyes, Richa replied, "Bhaiya, I miss you so much. Ever since elder brother Daksh left us, I've been alone. But now, I feel like our family is complete again."
Ankit's own memories stirred as Daksh's face flashed before his eyes. He couldn't remember the last time his sister had hugged him like this. Since Daksh's departure, everything had fallen apart, but today, Richa's words gave him hope to rebuild his life.
Sharvan Uncle, observing the emotional moment, said, "Ankit, I've always wanted both of you to be together. And now it will happen. I'll talk to Deshmukh, and I'm confident he'll agree to Richa's transfer."
Madhu supported Richa, saying, "It's better for her to stay here. She'll be happier with family than being alone."
Sharvan Uncle immediately called Deshmukh, the principal of Richa's school. After understanding the situation, Deshmukh agreed to the transfer.
Hanging up the call, Sharvan Uncle said, "It's all set now. Richa, you'll be staying with Ankit. We'll make all the necessary arrangements for your studies."
Richa's face lit up with joy. She hugged Ankit again and said, "Bhaiya, now I'll always be with you."
A little later, Sharvan Uncle and Madhu bid farewell to Ankit. Before getting into the car, Sharvan Uncle said, "Take care of yourself. Your responsibilities have increased now. I know you'll handle everything well."
Ankit smiled and nodded as he waved them goodbye. As the car drove away, Ankit looked up at the sky and took a deep breath. He finally felt that his family was coming back together.
Ankit walked back inside the house, thinking about what he could do for his sister and his family in the coming days. There was a renewed sense of energy in his eyes and a heart full of love and responsibility.
