Nindy held the neatly wrapped box Sean had just handed her, curiosity bubbling up inside her.
"Open it," Sean urged with an encouraging smile, leaning casually against the counter.
She untied the ribbon, carefully peeling back the paper. Inside was a gorgeous purse. Sleek, elegant, and undoubtedly her style.
"Oh my gosh, Sean," Nindy said, her voice filled with delight. "This is beautiful. Thank you so much!"
Sean's smile widened, his eyes sparkling. "I thought you'd like it. Wear it for the food truck's opening day, yeah?"
"Absolutely. It's perfect," Nindy said, clutching the purse against her chest. She felt a rush of warmth, a reminder of why she'd fallen for Sean in the first place.
"When is the big day, by the way?" she asked, tilting her head curiously.
"Three days from now," Sean replied, excitement creeping into his tone. "And hey, if you're free tonight, why don't you stop by my place? I could use a taste tester for the menu."
