Ziggy stepped into Nindy's café, the door jingling softly behind him. The warm hum of chatter and clinking cups filled the space, but none of it registered. His gaze locked on the woman sitting by the window. Ruby.
She looked up from her phone, her glossy lips parting in surprise before breaking into a dazzling smile. Rising from her chair, she glided toward him in that effortlessly graceful way she always had. She was breathtaking, her skin glowing, her figure accentuated by a chic blazer and pencil skirt, and her dark eyes framed by perfectly winged eyeliner.
But when she got closer, her smile faltered slightly. "Ziggy... your hair!" she exclaimed, her hand brushing a strand that no longer reached his shoulders. "You cut it? No more man bun?"
Ziggy smirked, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "Yeah. It was time for a change."
