The private jet descended smoothly onto the island's landing strip, surrounded by greenery and waterfalls that shimmered under the sunlight.
Sephina's private island was a paradise unlike any other, a sanctuary hidden from the chaos of the world.
As the jet's doors opened, Kael stepped out.
Swoosh
The warm breeze immediately brushing against his face.
He adjusted his jacket, his eyes scanning the breathtaking landscape, but his attention was quickly stolen by a figure approaching with purposeful strides.
It was Sephina.
Her silver hair flowed like liquid moonlight down her back, and her golden eyes shone with a mix of pride and relief.
Dressed in a flowing white gown that reflected her regal aura, she was every bit the dragon queen she was known to be.
Before Kael could say a word, Sephina closed the distance and pulled him into a firm yet tender embrace.
Kael stiffened for a moment, unaccustomed to such displays of affection, but then he relaxed, sensing the warmth in her gesture.
"Kael," she said softly.
"You've awakened your fire element." She pulled back just enough to look into his eyes, her hands still resting on his shoulders. Her gaze was searching, as if trying to confirm what she already knew.
"I can feel it. The fire within you—it's finally stirring."
Kael nodded, his expression calm but his heart pounding.
Sephina's lips curved into a small, proud smile."I knew you could do it, Kael."
Amelia, leaning casually against the jet with her sunglasses perched on her head, watched the exchange with a faint smirk.
"You two should get a room," she teased.
Kael shot her a sideways glance but chose not to respond.
Instead, he focused on Sephina, who seemed to be studying him with an intensity that made him feel both exposed and reassured.
"You look... different. and you have also awakened some part of dragonic form" Sephina said finally, her fingers brushing the edge of his jacket.
"Stronger good ... Well are you ready for training you requested" she added.
Kael met her gaze, unwavering.
"I'm ready."
Sephina tilted her head . As she turned, gesturing toward the sprawling mansion in the distance, nestled among towering trees.
"Come, you must be tired. Let's talk more inside. There's much to discuss."
---------
CLACK-CLACK
"Ready to lose again, Kael?" Amelia teased.
Kael rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the smirk tugging at his lips. "This time will be different."
Kael and Amelia faced each other in the training ground, their expressions locked in a playful but determined exchange.
And not far from them, Sephina stood with her arms crossed, watching intently.
Sephina's golden eyes glimmered with a mixture of pride and amusement as she observed her son. "As expected of my child," she thought, a faint smile playing on her lips.
"He's already showing strength and resilience far beyond his age."
Kael tightened his grip on his training sword, the flames flickering faintly along its edge as he summoned his fire element.
Across from him, Amelia stood with her usual confident smirk.
Kael lunged forward, his sword slicing through the air with precision.
Amelia dodged gracefully, her movements fluid as water. With a swift counterattack, she aimed for his side, forcing him to block at the last moment.
CLACK
Their blades clashed.
Amelia twirled away, her movements as light as a dancer's, and landed a teasing jab.
The spar continues for 30 minutes as now kael was completely exhausted.
"Huff"
"Huff... W....ait.." Kael said. As Amelia lunged towards him for another strike.
"Your stamina is pitiful, Kael," Amelia taunted, stepping back just enough to avoid his follow-up strike.
"With this much energy, how will you ever satisfy a girl in bed?"
Kael stumbled." Do you want to check" kael replied.
"Oh! My , what a straight forward young man"
"Sephina" she shouted.
"Kael is inviting me to check his stamina in bed."
"No that's not what I meant " kael replied
"Then what do you mean " Amelia questioned
"I mean what does satisfying a girl have to with sparring?" he stammered, trying to regain his focus.
Amelia laughed, her voice ringing out like a melody. "Everything, my dear Kael. Strength ,endurance and stamina are important in all aspects of life."
Sephina, standing at the edge of the training ground, raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
She could see Amelia's teasing was getting under Kael's skin, but she was also impressed by how her son held his ground despite his opponent is Amelia.
Kael gritted his teeth, pushing away his embarrassment.
He channeled more of his fire element into his strikes, the flames roaring to life as they encased his blade.
He surged forward with renewed vigor, forcing Amelia to take him seriously.
Their duel became a blur of motion. Kael's strikes were fast and powerful, each one leaving scorch marks on the ground.
Amelia matched his ferocity with speed and precision.
"You're improving, I'll give you that," Amelia admitted, her tone losing some of its playfulness.
"But you're still too predictable."
Kael growled in frustration, switching his strategy. He feinted left before spinning right, his blade cutting an arc of fire that forced Amelia to leap back.
Using the opening, Kael unleashed a burst of flames at her feet, causing her to stumble.
"Got you!" he shouted triumphantly.
But Amelia wasn't done. With a burst of agility, she flipped backward, landing gracefully several paces away.
"Not bad, Kael," she said, her smirk returning.
"But let me show you how it's really done."
She darted forward, her movements so fast that Kael struggled to keep up. Her sword danced around his defenses, striking at angles he couldn't anticipate.
Within moments, she had disarmed him, his flaming sword clattering to the ground.
Kael stood there, panting and drenched in sweat. Amelia, barely winded, rested the tip of her sword on his chest.
"Yield?" she asked, her voice teasing but with a hint of genuine admiration.
Kael sighed, raising his hands in surrender. "Fine. I yield."
Amelia grinned, stepping back and lowering her weapon. "Good boy. Now, let's work on that stamina of yours."
Sephina clapped slowly, drawing their attention.
"Well done, both of you," she said, stepping onto the field. "Kael…" She placed a hand on his shoulder, her expression softening.
"You have the strength and determination, but you're still rough around the edges. For your age, though, you're exceptional. I'm proud of you."
Kael's eyes widened at her words, a surge of warmth filling his chest. He hadn't heard praise like that from her before.
"However," Sephina continued, her tone growing serious, "if you truly want to wield my spells. You have to improve your control over fire. Your mastery over your fire element is still at the beginner level. To adapt my techniques, you'll need to reach at least advanced mastery."
Kael frowned, wiping sweat from his brow. "How do I do that?" he asked.
Sephina's gaze turned toward the horizon, her golden eyes thoughtful. "You'll need to immerse yourself in fire," she said.
"Learn its nature"
Kael clenched his fists, determination blazing in his eyes. "Nature?" He muttered.
Sephina smiled faintly, a flicker of pride lighting up her expression. "Good."
Kael nodded, his determination unwavering.
As Sephina turned away, her silver hair catching the faint glow of the setting sun.
She took a step before pausing, glancing over her shoulder.
"Meet me at 5:00 AM tomorrow," she said, her voice calm but firm. "There's a place you must go, and I'll explain everything then."
