As Celestara's intense gaze softened just slightly,
"Just tell me—can you cure my husband, or not?" She asked.
Kael hesitated, pausing long enough to make her lean forward, her piercing purple eyes fixed on his face.
"I'm not certain," he finally replied, careful with his words.
"but I think I might know a way."
Celestara studied him, an unreadable expression crossing her face.
'He solved the riddle of the Astral Waters,' she thought.
Her lips curved into a smile, but there was a chilling edge to it.
"So, if there is even a chance, I will hold you to it." She muttered.
"Will you try to cure my husband?, Kael" she asked.
"Why should I try to cure your husband?" Kael said, his voice carrying a hint of defiance.
Inside, his thoughts were racing.
He remembered that Lumia's father's death had been a catalyst in her story, one that spurred her growth and pushed her to greater heights.
His mind whirled, grappling with the implications of saving the man.
It's not like he is thinking sarcastically, but it will affect lumia's growth.
Celestara watched him, her eyebrow arching.
'why should he cure my husband?'
"Kael do you have a dark affinity" Celestara asked.
"Yes" he answered plainly.
"Oh!"
Celestara didn't expect that
"Then let's strike a deal." She leaned in, her voice dripping with an intense allure that only a being of her power could command.
"If you agree to try to lift the curse, I will train you myself in one of my most powerful spells—the VENEZIA SANGUIS "
'What's that spell' as kael was thinking, a blue screen of system pops up

'Having a system really great '
"Really?" Kael as he asked again to make sure.
"Yes" Celestara replied.
To be trained in something like that, directly from Celestara herself, would be invaluable.
He could feel the excitement bubbling inside, but he kept his face neutral.
"If you can cure him," she said smoothly, an almost affectionate look flashing across her face
"the VENEZIA SANGUIS will be yours."
Kael's mind flickered back to his mother, Seraphina.
She had taught him many things, grounding him in the power and pride of dragonkind.
Yet the strongest of her spells were all rooted in fire.
He'd attempted them, even felt the fire stir within him, but he hadn't fully awakened fire.
The thought of trying again came to mind.
But for now, a power like VENEZIA SANGUIS this could be the bridge he needed.
"Then it's a deal," Kael said, his voice firm.
He matched her gaze, noting the trace of emotion she tried to mask.
Maybe her icy demeanor hid more than just disdain—perhaps she truly cared about her husband, even if she wouldn't show it openly.
A sly smile crept onto his face.
'click'
As Kael watched the familiar blue screen flicker into view, he could see the words glowing in bold letters:

A surge of energy coursed through him, his senses heightened as he felt the essence of the Astral Waters fully integrate with his body.
He looked over at Celestara.
"So, are you really not coming in?" he asked.
Celestara's expression was cool.
"I plan on coming back with my daughter later," she replied.
Kael hesitated, processing her words. "You know the answer to the riddle then, right?."
He wanted to confirm his knowledge, realizing that in the original story, she hadn't discovered the Astral Water for nearly another year.
Celestara smirked, folding her arms as she watched him with faint curiosity.
"Yes, I know the answer," she replied with a hint of superiority.
"That's the only reason I came here—to find you napping in the pool."
Kael's mind raced.
How did she know so soon? In the story, this sanctuary was hidden, locked away by the riddle, and she hadn't found it for another year.
But here she was, fully aware .
"What's going on" kael muttered to himself
"Let's go to Noctyra, then" Celestara said ,while giving kael his own clothes.
'Noctyra' it's capital city of vampire kingdom
"Let's go!"
