"Mission complete", says prince William. "The traitor's henchmen were found, though they refused to confess who their leader was, so I bought an end to them, those loyal boneheads."
The king Arthur stood up from his throne, his tall figure appearing, his red eyes glowing with rage, he sure was disturbed. "Things are getting harder and more complicated, this traitor could sell of royal secrets that only we royals have access to, he is one of the people in this castle, he could end us." Continued the king "We need to act fast, and I mean really fast. From now on, no one is allowed to leave this castle except for William, Victor, and myself, I cannot trust anyone else, nor can I put our ladies in danger, this is an order, no one goes out until they have my permission, though never alone. Everyone can be dismissed now, William, Victor, follow me."
As both brothers follow their father, he leads them into a secret basement, only they and one servant knew about it, and that was Rosaline. She was ordered to clean it secretly every night, that was the only reason the king told her about it at all.
As William walks in alongside his father and brother, his eyes met Rosaline's, who was wiping dust off a table in the basement. William was always the one to give the poor girl extra tasks and harder work, he did anything to make sure she stays busy, not just cause he hates her, but deep down, he smells something fishy about her.
William looked away, in front of him was one of the henchmen that worked with the traitor, he himself kidnapped him. The man was tied up to a chair with a thick rope, and a piece of cloth was covering his mouth, he looked at the with terror in his eyes.
Victor and William stood aside as king Arthur held the man's jaw tight and removed his cloth "Tell me now, who do you work for, what's his goal, I wanna know everything, or else….", the king stepped back, prince Victor placed his sword on the man's throat. The henchman got nervous, he looked into Victor's eyes, then at the king's and William's "No, no no no, I won't confess, you can't make me!". The king nodded his head slowly "Very well then" he turned to leave as Victor ripped off the man's head and followed his father.
William turned to look at Rosaline, she looked at the blood terrified, even though she was used to the king and his sons finishing off men, she still had her share of Hemophobia, fear of blood.
Then suddenly, William lifted her in his strong muscular arms, causing her to freeze in shock, her phobia made her legs too weak to stand up anyways. He took her to her room and tossed her on her bed then spoke "Get it together, weakling, I'll make it pass this once, but you better not get used to skipping this task again". But the thing is, this was not the first time William make her skip this task, ever since he found out about her phobia, he never allowed himself to make her face it, not because he cares about her, but he has his share of phobia so he knows how it felt.
He went back to the basement and cleaned off the blood himself, he made sure no one, and I mean no one, found out about what he does. Even though William tried to hide that he was careful with fears, Rosaline was the only one to notice it, yet she still does not know the reason behind his actions.
