Noah stood infront of his bathroom mirror as he inspected his body.
He was currently shirtless and had a fit body with some outlines of muscles.
It is necessary for someone like him to have a fit and healthy body.
His dark hair had grown longer and reached upto his neck.
His vibrant green eyes seems to have lost some lustre.
Visible eyebags were present on his face.
He took out some makeup and applied it to hide his eyebags.
'I feel like shit.' His eyes drooped indicating how sleep deprived he was.
'But I don't wanna see that again.' A fearful expression formed on his face as he remembered the reoccurring nightmares he was having these days.
'It all started after my memory loss.' Noah was a hundred percent sure that it was the cause.
'I don't remember much about the nightmare after I wake up but the fear still exists in me even though I don't know what I am scared of.'
He finished covering up his eyebags and left the bathroom.
He put on his clothes and wore his crown.
He changed his oval glasses to square glasses.
He also had a black-and-white messenger bag.
'I always liked these.' He got the idea from the protagonist of black and white 2.
He recalled all his Pokemon back into their pokeballs except larvesta.
He left his hotel room and entered the bustling streets of goldenrod city.
'There's not much to do here I think.'
'Now I am going to hallenge the gym leader Whitney.'
'Then what should I do?' He wondered as he accidentally bumped into an idol.
Because of the unexpected collision the idol fell down and twisted her ankle.
'Oh fuck.' Noah was considering running away from here.
But his moralities took over as he extended his hand towards the idol and helped her stand up.
"Umm... You okay?" He asked awkwardly.
'I have never spoken to a girl except nurse joy.'
He did not forget about his co-workers, it's just that he doesn't consider those wierdos as humans.
"Yeah I am sorry for accidentally colliding into you!" She screamed cutely in character and bowed towards him.
The surrounding people quickly turned their head towards the commotion when they heard a girl's voice.
But they were only able to see a pink-haired idol and not Noah.
Many wastes of oxygen quickly recognised this idol and rushed at her with their greasy hair and stenchy body while screeching:"Nancy! Nancy I'm your biggest fan, can I take a selfie!"
Fortunately for the poor idol her bodyguards finally showed up.
Yancy stood there dazed at what she just saw.
'Is that even humanly possible?' The memory of Noah just full-on sprinting that would put any speed-based Pokemon to shame appeared in her mind.
He ran away the moment she opened her mouth.

Goldenrod gym.
Noah adjusted his glasses as he stepped into the building.
'Meeting Yancy here was a suprise, well not really considering she is said to have gone to other regions.'
'I don't think she existed in the anime.'
'And her idol voice is annoying.'
He meant Yancy's entire idol personality.
Most of the idols live their lives completely different from what is shown in the media.

'I also wanted to have a interview with Prof.Oak but he is in Kanto region with an important research.' Noah felt a bit regretful for not being able to meet such a legend who created the pokedex.
As he was walking someone appeared before him and obstructed his path.
It was a little girl with a miltank by her side.
"What's the matter." Noah raised an eyebrow.
"I am sorry for blocking your way but the gym leader is currently not available." She spoke with an apologetic tone.
'She is not good at her job.' Noah decided to come again the next day.
"I see, then I will come back at a later time."
He turned around to leave.
Before he started to walk away the girl suddenly spoke:"Umm.. if you want to battle her you can go to uncle milton's farm."
She felt bad for making a trainer come here and return with nothing.
'Well if he lost he would still return with nothing.' She thought.
Noah thanked her and left the gym.
'I want to evolve lampent before batting her.'
His next destination was the department store.

Goldenrod department store.
"What do you mean you don't know what a dusk stone is?" Noah asked with genuine confusion.
"We are sorry sir but if you'd like we have other stones for you to pick." The lady he just spoke to said apologetically.
"Fine get me a leaf stone." Noah wanted to leave quickly but leaving a store without buying anything felt like a crime.
He payed for it and stored it inside his bag.
He left the stall and went to other ones in search of a dusk stone and buying some necessities.
'I am speed running this region.' He felt that there was not much to do here after doing the lugia quest.
He went on a shopping spree and spent a lot of money.
He even needed his Pokemon to help him carry the bags.
Turtwig and golbat were happy to help while lampent was just neutral.
Even if he had a happy expression no one would know because of his lamp head.
Combusken behaved like a rebelling teenager but still helped him.
And larvesta did nothing but sleep.
How was he supposed to carry them with his feeble bug body?
'Ah, the joy of spending your hard earned money.' Noah finally stopped and left the department store.
The sun was starting to set as the street lights turned on.
He walked through the streets with his Pokemon around.
'I will challenge Whitney tomorrow.'
He felt it was a waste of time to go to a farm just to battle a gym leader.
This was one of the reasons he went for shopping.
At this moment he heard some whimpering coming from a dumpster in the alleyway towards his left.
It sounded like a sheep.
'A pokemon?' He was curious and decided to check it out.
A few minutes later.
In the narrow and dark alleyway we can see Noah sitting on the ground leaning against a wall while petting a Pokemon.
His other Pokemon stood on the side.
"So you haven't eaten since your owner left you?" He leaned forward and asked to the blue sheep covered with wool that was once white.
It was a mareep.
Right now it was in a terrible state.
Both of it's hind legs were injured and a lot of scratch marks were present on it's body.
It's fluffy wool was reduced to a rag.
The Pokemon did not answer as he was fully focused on eating the food inside the bowl placed before him.
'I feel bad.' Noah thought as he saw the sheep eagerly eating the food.
He leaned back and looked towards the sky.
A half moon was high up in the sky as dark clouds tried to hide it.
'Abandoning their own Pokemon isn't that rare to be honest.'
'I mean Ash got a infernape and a charizard because of it.'
'But if someone wanted to abandon their pokemon they would leave it in a Pokemon center so that it would be taken care of.'
'So that means mareep's ex-trainer cares a lot about his reputation.' Noah already considered mareep as his Pokemon and he was gonna take it with him.
And now one can stop him.
Now how did he know it was abandoned?
'A wild mareep won't appear here in goldenrod and they normally appear at route 32, 42 and 43.'
'And I asked him and he nodded, so that's a yes.' Noah is a gullible person and trusts someone very easily.
He then turned around to see that mareep finished the and it seemed he needed more.
Noah chuckled and stood up.
He scooped up mareep into his arms and said:"Well I will give you more food at the pokemon center."
Mareep had a lot of injuries that one would wonder how he survived here with all those injuries.
"And from now on you are going to join my team." He said and left towards the pokemon center.
His other Pokemon followed behind him.
Golbat felt pity after seeing mareep's current situation.
Turtwig was happy to have a new friend to play with.
Lampent seems to be showing his happiness by spinning around faster.
Visible anger was present on combusken's eyes after he saw how miserable mareep's life was.
Larvesta was not aware of this because he was sleeping inside Noah's crown.
Both magikarp and lapras were chilling inside their Pokemon.
Meanwhile, mareep was holding back his tears.
He remembered about his old trainer and how he treated him.
He met him when the forest where mareep lived was burned down.
At that time mareep was fleeing with his family.
But before he could escape the forest a strange red-white ball appeared before his vision.
And he was easily captured because of his fatigue.
His life from then on was miserable.
He was not given proper food.
Sometimes maybe three meals a day if he was lucky.
Whenever he got hurt he was not taken to a Pokemon center because his trainer said he doesn't deserve it.
He was continuously used in battle.
He only lost in his last battle and his trainer left him because of it.
For god's sake he fought against a graveller.
But the time he spent on the streets were much better that the time he spent with his trainer.
But today he experienced kindness from someone other than his family for the first time.
It was a trainer who found him in a dumpster and fed him.
And now it seems like he wanted to adopt mareep.
Mareep always longed for a supportive trainer.
Whenever he saw trainers and their Pokemon happilt walking in the street a feeling of loneliness welled up in his heart.
But more importantly he wanted a friend that could understand him.
If what this man said was true then this would be the best thing that will happen in his life.
Finally mareep fell asleep on Noah's arms as tears of joy ran down his cheeks.
