As the grand door to the throne room opened, two violent winds assaulted the visitors' faces. The first carried an icy, polar chill that made their hair stand on end and froze their skin with a thin layer of frost. Their breath turned to mist before their eyes. The second wind brought with it the foul stench of rotting flesh, a pervasive and overwhelming odor.
Reflexively, they covered their noses, exclaiming in disgust.
"Ugh!" Shahin cried. "What a stench! It's like a pit of rotting ogres in here. It reeks so badly, it burns my eyes!"
Moments later, as he squinted into the dim room, he added, "This doesn't feel right..."
Weakened from his previous confrontation with Hogen, Kentaro couldn't hold back any longer. Dropping to one knee, he leaned over and vomited onto the luxurious tapestries. His face was pale as a ghost, twisted in revulsion.
