To start with, the world of Arthdal takes place in the 21st century and is separated into five continents, each under the rule of five different races.

For now, Eldorado, the human continent is the base of operation and centre of focus.

The rule of Eldorado is divided into three sector

The three sectors are further graded into three living conditions as

UPSTATE: Where the high-class citizens and ministerial officials reside.

MIDSTATE: Where middle-class people who can afford rent and three square meals a day reside.

DOWNSTATE: For the outright poor, the forsaken without a stable means of surviving and lives striving on scraps and dutiful blessings.

All three sectors are overseen by two ruling powers known as orders.

MYSTIC ORDER:

The mystic order works for the interest of the human race as a single body. Their primary objective is to ensure the survival of humanity against the four other existing races. In other words, they form the external chain of command and oversee all activities outside Eldorado.

Under the three sectors, the authoritative mystic clan goes thus;

• Pendragon Clan: Sector A

• Valtheran Clan: Sector B

• Astravon Clan: Sector C

NATIONAL ORDER:

Said order looks after the interest of the people, and family specifics and maintains an established social hierarchy that each sector thrives on. They are the internal force and are akin to the civil form of government, unlike the mystic order that leans closer to military service.
