Krillin's heart pounded as he watched the growing distress on 18's face. Her usual stoic demeanor was gone, replaced by an uncharacteristic vulnerability as she knelt, breathing heavily, her flushed cheeks giving away just how deeply the anomaly's energy was affecting her. Beside her, Bulma clung to the console, struggling to keep her balance as the same overpowering sensations washed over her.
"Krillin… it's getting stronger," 18 managed to say, her voice strained. "I don't know how much longer we can hold out."
Bulma, still holding herself up, glanced back at Goku and Vegeta outside. "Guys, whatever you're going to do, do it fast!" Her voice shook, carrying an urgency that made both Saiyans nod in unison.
Outside, Goku's expression grew serious as he locked eyes with Vegeta. "If we don't act now, they're not going to make it."
Vegeta smirked, powering up to his maximum. "Then let's finish this."
As the two launched toward the dark square, the plane's atmosphere seemed to thicken, intensifying the effects on everyone inside. Krillin quickly moved beside 18, his hand on her shoulder, grounding her as much as he could. "Hold on, 18. Just a little longer."
Both Goku and Vegeta didn't hold back, they launched a ki blast towards the black square, following that Goku charged his kamehameha and Vegeta charged his Final Flash, their combined energy roaring as it shot through the air. The two beams collided with the dark square, engulfing it in an explosion of blinding light. The sheer force of the attack shook the air, and the oppressive energy emanating from the anomaly wavered, cracks spreading across its surface.
Inside the plane, Android 18 and Bulma both felt a sudden release in pressure, as if a heavy weight had been lifted from their bodies. The uncomfortable heat and strange pull dissipated, allowing them to finally catch their breath.
"Keep it up, Goku! Vegeta!" Krillin shouted, gripping 18's shoulder as he helped her back onto her feet.
Outside, Goku and Vegeta poured every ounce of power into their attacks, refusing to let up. The dark square flickered violently, unable to withstand the relentless force of their energy. Finally, with a shattering sound that echoed across the water, the square imploded, dissolving into a harmless cloud of energy that dispersed into the air.
Goku and Vegeta hovered in place, breathing heavily as they watched the remnants of the square fade away. Inside the plane, Bulma slumped back into her seat, closing her eyes in relief.
"It's... it's over," Bulma muttered, running a hand through her hair. She glanced at Android 18, who managed a small nod, still regaining her usual composure.
Krillin squeezed 18's hand reassuringly. "Are you okay?"
18 gave him a weary smile. "Yeah. Thanks, Krillin."
Goku and Vegeta returned to the plane, both of them visibly tired but triumphant. Goku grinned, giving Bulma a thumbs-up. "Guess we took care of that thing, huh?"
Vegeta crossed his arms, smirking. "Next time, let's avoid getting caught up in any more interdimensional nonsense."
Bulma managed a weak laugh. "Agreed. Let's head home... and remind me to design some sort of defense against this kind of energy for the next time we're out on one of these missions."
The group, finally out of harm's way, took a moment to catch their breath, silently grateful to be safe once more.
As they were returning something sting on krillin's neck, he brushed it off thinking that it was a mosquito.
