I turned around, my phone still pressed against my face as I scrutinized the girl before me.
It was Brittany, Phoebe's current personal maid who seemed to be close to that Miranda girl.
She had a shy smile on her face as she glanced around the garden. "G– Good morning, sir. Can we talk?"
I smirked, keeping my phone in my pocket.
Time to use my charms.
"Why, yes, dear. Follow me." I beckoned on her, taking the lead and walking out of the garden within the compound.
However, I noticed she wasn't following me and glanced back, arching an eyebrow.
She fiddled nervously with her fingers before she spoke. "Actually, sir, can we talk somewhere private? Like your place perhaps?"
Well, well, well...
My smile only widened as I nodded, beckoning to her with a nod of my head.
She smiled as well, but she wasn't deceiving anyone with that smile.
