Negan furrowed his brows as I got up, brushing my hands through my hair.
"This is bad," I muttered before kicking the chair nearby. "Goddess, this is bad!"
Negan got up as well just then, sounding worried. "What's wrong?"
I turned my gaze to him. "We have to warn Kaene about the Delta's plot against him. He's vulnerable right now, at least emotionally. Anyone can take advantage of that and take him off guard."
I believed Kaene could protect himself in a direct attack and was very cautious, but right now he doesn't seem to be in the best state of mind.
And to think that that was my fault made me shiver with dread.
"Like I told you before, Phoebe, we have to approach this with caution." Negan tried reasoning with me. "The Delta is a dangerous man with an even more dangerous man supporting him. There's no telling how easily he could manipulate the facts you give to Kaene against you."
