Rowland glanced at me as Elsa and her father continued bickering outside the room we were in.
It seemed they were only a few rooms away.
"You know, it would be really cool if we're able to fish them out in the dark," Rowland muttered with a mischievous tone, giving me a wink.
I knew what he was implying.
"I don't like unnecessarily using my magic, Rowland. You should know that." I blurted, walking toward the door and placing my hand on the doorknob.
However, before I could open it, Rowland sniggered. "Right. Yet, you were able to use it to take out the power in the entire pack house so you could save your rejected Luna girlfriend."
What in the unholy hell? Girlfriend?!
My eyes twitched as I slowly swerved my body to Rowland, staring at him with cold eyes.
Rowland noticed the change in my mood and took a step forward, gulping nervously while scratching the back of his head.
