Eleonora and Emilia stood poised, their awareness heightened upon the realization that two Supreme-ranked Sorcerers were present. Their energies emanated wildly, with no intention of concealing their power.
After contemplating for a brief moment, Emilia voiced her thoughts. "It seems the enemy is desperate to prevent their high-potential Sorcerer seedlings from being slaughtered by you again." Her insight was spot-on, accurately discerning the intentions of their adversaries.
Eleonora scoffed in annoyance, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Hmph—no matter what they attempt, I will dismantle their plans," she declared, her expression icily resolute. "Besides, it's time we face these Supreme-ranked Sorcerers head-on, sister." She continued, her voice soft but firm, suggesting to Emilia.
Nodding in agreement, Emilia shared Eleonora's sentiment. "Very well, let's proceed immediately."
"Understood, sister," Eleonora replied, gently placing her hand on Emilia's shoulder.
With a deft will, Eleonora channeled her mana, transforming herself and Emilia into clusters of photons. These particles then surged dynamically at the speed of light toward the location of the two Supreme-ranked enemy Sorcerers.
In a fraction of a nanosecond, they arrived at the forefront of the enemy's flagship. There, they were greeted by two identical young men with green hair, distinguished by stark differences in their physiques. One was slender and graceful, while the other was towering and robust.
However, the slender youth exuded a more menacing aura, with narrow eyes and a perpetually smiling mouth, akin to that of a psychopath.
"So, you two must be Eleonora and Emilia. You've got quite the nerve, waltzing confidently into the lion's den," remarked the muscular youth with a deep, resonant voice.
"The lion's den?" Emilia queried, feigning confusion. "Isn't this merely a flagship?" she continued, her face innocently inquiring, yet the smirk on her lips was unmistakably taunting.
Feeling belittled by Emilia's words, the muscular youth could no longer contain himself. Unleashing an immense amount of mana, he summoned his battle spirit, manifesting as a dark green aura armor enveloping his entire body. A terrifying mask with two red eyes obscured his face.
With a casual flick of his right hand, a massive, heavy sword materialized, forged from the same green spirit aura.
"Heavenly Strike!" he bellowed, swinging his sword vertically. The youth clad in spirit armor unleashed a destructive energy blast of dark green, which streaked towards Emilia with lightning speed.
With astonishing swiftness, Emilia drew a mace from her back and swung it in a horizontal arc, unleashing a stream of magma across the surface of the aircraft carrier. The collision of attacks created a shockwave accompanied by incredibly high thermal energy, reducing dozens of fighter jets and ospreys to molten wreckage. Many personnel in the vicinity who had yet to be evacuated met a similarly dire fate.
On the other side, a young man with green hair and a lithe physique nonchalantly conjured a translucent green energy barrier in the shape of a dome. Meanwhile, Eleonora exploited her light elemental body's intangibility to withstand the impact of the clash.
Without waiting for the aftermath to settle, a burly young man shot towards Emilia with lightning speed, swinging his sword horizontally. At a distance of two meters, he unleashed a green spiritual energy wave in the form of a sword slash, targeting both Emilia and Eleonora simultaneously.
"Even with your perfect elemental bodies, it's impossible to withstand an attack imbued with destructive spiritual energy," the burly youth sneered, revealing the true potency of his assault.
Unresponsive, both Emilia and Eleonora were struck by the destructive energy wave, splitting their bodies into two.
"Hahahaha—look at that! Your foolish arrogance led to your swift demise!" The burly youth laughed heartily, satisfied with the devastating performance of his strike.
"Stay alert, Draco!" shouted the lithe young man, Zix, the twin brother of the burly youth, with urgency, warning his sibling.
"No need to worry, Zix, they're already—ugh." Draco was cut off as he felt a searing and powerful blow to the back of his head. His vision started to fade, on the verge of losing consciousness.
However, he quickly recovered, utilizing the healing effects of his battle spirit.
Upon regaining his consciousness, Draco hastily rushed back to Zix's side. It took him a few moments to compose himself after being startled by Emilia's sudden and swift attack. With a furrowed brow hidden beneath his mask, Draco realized his own folly in underestimating the enemy. He had overlooked the fact that the two Sorcerers before him were supreme-ranked individuals of remarkable prowess, just like himself.
"They're not ordinary Sorcerers who rely solely on their unique abilities. Always stay vigilant once an attack is executed," Zix explained calmly to his brother, Draco. Yet, his expression shifted to one of seriousness upon noticing Eleonora's sudden disappearance from their sight.
High above in the sky, Eleonora had conjured hundreds of small golden circles of light, each targeting the enemy's warships below.
"Time for annihilation!" Eleonora sneered viciously as she hovered high in the air. Moments later, she swung her right arm downward, unleashing high-intensity laser beams with immense energy towards the enemy's warships and several submarines beneath the sea.
Paying little heed to the impact of her attack, Eleonora swiftly returned to Emilia's side in a fraction of a nanosecond. In the subsequent moment, hundreds of golden laser beams obliterated the enemy's entire fleet of warships almost simultaneously.
The high-energy laser beams pierced through each warship's magical defenses with ease, exploding upon contact with the dense material of the warships' hulls, causing devastating destruction.
Eleonora's ultra-high-energy laser beam possessed the capability to ionize matter within nanoseconds. The ionized matter transformed into plasma, expanding at the speed of light, resulting in a massive explosion with temperatures reaching unimaginable heights.
Nearly all enemy forces were vaporized instantly by the catastrophic blast. No warship could withstand such an onslaught.
Witnessing this scene, both Zix and Draco felt utterly foolish. A single moment of negligence had cost them their invaluable war assets, obliterated in the blink of an eye.
"You vile woman!" Zix shouted in fury, leaping high into the sky. He began channeling an immense amount of brilliantly glowing green mana throughout his body. "Arise, my beloved battle spirit, The Valkyrie of Poison!"
Gradually, the mana enveloping his body materialized into the spiritual incarnation of a giant woman with a perfectly proportioned physique, clad in a uniquely complete set of armor, all manifested from dark green spiritual energy.
In the subsequent moment, a pair of expansive wings emerged from the back of The Valkyrie of Poison.
Controlling the battle spirit directly, Zix appeared within the head of The Valkyrie of Poison, wearing armor crafted from the same spiritual energy. This armor seemed to serve as the control interface for the battle spirit he had summoned.
As Emilia and Eleonora focused their attention skyward, observing The Valkyrie of Poison hovering above, Draco unleashed a high-powered spiritual shockwave. This force successfully hurled the two women away from the mothership.
"Well done, Draco!" Zix commended with a satisfied expression, while conjuring a massive bow composed of dark green spiritual energy.
Zix's battle spirit held the giant bow horizontally, and as he drew the bowstring, two arrows formed from the same dark green spiritual energy. Aiming at Emilia and Eleonora, who were still uncontrollably airborne, he released the arrows in the next instant.
The arrows, imbued with deadly poison at their tips, shot forth at high velocity, diving toward their targets. Simultaneously, a piercing whistling sound echoed along their trajectory, adding a terror-inducing effect capable of demoralizing lower-ranked Sorcerers.
"The spiritual force is overwhelmingly powerful," murmured Eleonora, her eyes fixed on the massive spiritual arrow aimed directly at her. "Yet still, it won't be enough to bring us down." Her expression shifted to one of intense seriousness as she continued to mutter in a low voice.
In an instant, Eleonora conjured a long-handled scimitar, crafted from a collection of high-energy golden light particles, meticulously concentrated through a complex process. Swinging her luminous scimitar in a horizontal arc, she unleashed a crescent-shaped wave of high-intensity light, streaking forward at the speed of light.
Within mere nanoseconds, the wave of light collided with the gigantic spiritual arrow, engaging in a brief yet fierce clash. The crescent-shaped golden wave eventually cleaved the arrow in two with a precise and seamless cut.
Meanwhile, Emilia launched her attack, summoning a red magma dragon that effortlessly devoured the massive spiritual arrow. "Beyond melting solid materials, my magma can dissolve spiritual energy and soul spirits. There's nothing in this world that I cannot destroy!" With eyes blazing like molten magma, Emilia shouted with fury as she swung her mace once more, propelling the red magma dragon forward in pursuit of Zix, who hovered in the air.
Utilizing her additional magic ability of flight, Emilia stabilized herself mid-air. Eleonora, on the other hand, floated effortlessly, her elemental light body devoid of mass.
Following Zix's command, the flagship of the Three Headed Cerberus made a swift turn, steering away from the main battlefield. Draco hovered beside his sibling, utilizing the spiritual wings extending from the back of his battle spirit armor. Despite his presence, he remained in a smaller manifested form, distinct from Zix.
