Chapter 6 - The Clash of Titans

Within the vast expanse of his omniscient perception sphere, Lucius skillfully wielded his Absolute Dominion Domain, amplified by the Empyrean Dominator's Aura. It was here, amidst this heightened awareness, that he discerned an isolated open area far to the south, untouched by civilization. Nestled near a pristine, virgin beach, this locale seemed an ideal battleground for the confrontation at hand.

With precision and intent, Lucius manipulated the layers of space-time within his domain, exercising his formidable intellect and indomitable will. He commenced the intricate process of connecting two points through a dimensional pathway, distinct from Earth's ordinary reality.

Exerting a prodigious amount of mana, Lucius transported himself, his adversary, and the colossal orb of lightning accompanying them. They traversed through the dimensional ripple crafted by his previous dominion, vanishing from the mall in an instant, as if swallowed by the earth itself, leaving no trace behind. Within mere femtoseconds, they emerged at their intended destination.

This instantaneous transference required only a few seconds for preparation and a mere fraction of a second for execution. Such was the swiftness and subtlety of the transition that even Darren, with his keen senses, scarcely perceived the shift in locale. It was only several seconds later that Darren noticed something amiss in his surroundings. Glancing around with bewilderment, he questioned aloud:

"Eh, where is this? Why is there a beach inside the mall?"

Realization struck with a jolt: he was no longer within the confines of the building. Shock and disbelief etched across his face as he hovered in the sky, still clutching the massive orb of lightning. His gaze drifted downward, where Lucius lounged nonchalantly, exuding an air of unperturbed confidence.

As their eyes met, Lucius's phone vibrated. With deftness, he retrieved his smartphone and answered the call from Loretta.

"Young Master, all hostages have been safely evacuated. The television station is prepared to resume the comedy show you requested earlier," Loretta reported with composed efficiency.

At that moment, Loretta was busy subduing the captured members of Silver Wolf, ensnaring them with gnarled, ancient tree roots summoned from the ground through her Druid Magic.

"You wretched witch—arghhh," one Silver Wolf member cursed defiantly, only to find the roots tightening mercilessly around his body, crushing bones and inflicting excruciating pain upon his vital points.

Listening to the commotion over the phone, Lucius sighed softly, sympathizing with the man's dire predicament. He nodded approvingly, acknowledging Loretta's exemplary work.

"Loretta, I will return shortly. Please hold your position," Lucius instructed with clarity.

"Understood, Young Master," Loretta responded with grace and poise.

Concluding the call, Lucius observed the orb of lightning above him, now significantly larger than before.

Darren had the opportunity to strike his seemingly distracted opponent, who appeared absorbed in the phone conversation. Yet, curiously, no opening presented itself for Darren to exploit.

Thus, Darren resolved to augment his attack, intending to obliterate Lucius with a single, devastating strike.

"Very well, it's time to conclude this," Lucius declared with a sinister grin, channeling an immense quantity of aura.

A high-intensity violet aura surged from every pore of Lucius's being, cascading like a fierce, blazing inferno.

Darren's face blanched, cold sweat trickling down his brow as he witnessed the overwhelming mana radiating from Lucius. It was unfathomable that one so young could possess such a colossal reserve of mana.

'To wield such an amount of mana is no trivial feat. Even within Silver Wolf's ranks, only the lieutenant generals can achieve this,' Darren mused, attempting to assess and compare Lucius's capabilities.

In the ensuing moment, Lucius's sword became enveloped in a dense, destructive aura, swiftly expanding into a massive ethereal blade, using his sword as its core.

Sensing an imminent threat, Darren unleashed his attack downward, targeting Lucius as he ascended with the aura-forged blade in both hands.

"Hyahh!!" Lucius shouted, swinging the aura blade horizontally towards the colossal lightning orb.

A cataclysmic explosion reverberated in all directions, obliterating everything within a vast radius. The sea surged and receded violently in response to the clash's impact. Nearby creatures, panicked and terrified, fled the scene.

The surrounding coconut trees toppled and shattered, coral rocks splintered into fragments, and the landscape underwent severe deformation.

With both palms extended, Darren methodically channeled a steady stream of mana into the lightning orb, striving to maintain its energy coherence and form. However, the exertion grew increasingly burdensome due to Lucius's relentless assault, which continuously eroded the electrical energy of Darren's orb.

Consequently, Darren was forced to exponentially increase his mana expenditure with each passing second to uphold the orb's energy intensity.

'Damn, at this rate, my mana will be depleted first,' Darren thought, his sense of powerlessness apparent as he grappled with the critical circumstances he faced.

Realizing his opponent's strength was waning, Lucius tightened his grip on the sword's hilt. He pushed the massive lightning orb, forcing it back a few inches.

The intensifying pressure increased the power of the shockwaves emanating from the clash.

"Hmm—perhaps this is the end," Lucius murmured nonchalantly, slightly amplifying the destructive aura on his gigantic aura blade.

The violet light shone ever brighter, disrupting the coherence of Darren's lightning orb. The massive orb trembled violently, and the electrical energy contained within began to diffuse into the surrounding area.

With a spontaneous thrust, Lucius drove his sword with great force and speed. In the next moment, Darren's colossal lightning orb was successfully cleaved in two, dissipating into the vast sky without causing any damage.

"What?!". Darren shouted loudly, his eyes widening in disbelief at what he had just witnessed.

Soaring swiftly several dozen meters into the sky, Lucius swung his violet aura sword vertically once again, targeting Darren, who was left exhausted and stunned by the abrupt change in the situation.

Unable to react, Darren finally succumbed to the terrifying tyranny of Lucius's aura sword. His body was split into two, meeting a tragically brutal end.

A large quantity of fresh blood rained down like a storm into the sea, creating separate pools on its surface.

Establishing an absolute dominion with the Aura of Empyrean Dominator, Lucius once more manipulated the layers of space-time dimensions around him and the target location in the distance. Utilizing the vision from his Aura of Omniscient Perception, he then teleported with Darren's corpse to the main lobby of Rockstar Mall.

"Young Master!!" Loretta happened to cross paths with Lucius at the lobby entrance, greeting him with a bright expression.

Catching the familiar scent of blood, Loretta glanced behind Lucius, noticing a human corpse split into two parts.

Rather than being shocked, Loretta casually inquired with a neutral expression to confirm the identity of the corpse:

"Is this man Darren, the leader of those terrorists, Young Master?".

"Hmm—could it be? But yes, his name is Darren. An older man with long, disheveled white hair and wrinkled skin." Lucius was slightly taken aback by this information, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Loretta for confirmation.

With Lucius's description, Loretta nodded in affirmation.

"Young Master, the comedy show will air in one hour. Would you like to head home directly?" Loretta glanced at a simple analog watch on her left wrist, informing him about the television show's schedule.

Lucius did not immediately respond, surveying his surroundings filled with cries and groans of pain from the tragedy that had befallen them.

Various medical personnel, including those with special healing magic abilities, began tending to the patients, prioritizing those with the most severe injuries first.

Realizing that the medical personnel were short on resources and manpower, Lucius benevolently activated his Aura of Perpetual Renewal, channeling a massive amount of mana. He created a vast healing aura sphere of violet, visible to the human eye.

This warm violet aura induced healing, relaxation, and enhancement of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The injuries sustained by each victim were regenerated to the cellular level in an extraordinarily brief period, regardless of their severity.

However, Lucius excluded the injured Silver Wolf terrorists, leaving their fate in their own hands.

"What is this? Why does this violet energy feel so soothing?" One of the doctors couldn't contain his astonishment, questioning with great curiosity.

"Observe your surroundings carefully; we are enveloped by a violet energy sphere, which appears to have physical, mental, and spiritual healing effects," an older doctor explained after analyzing the patients around him.

"Wow—this is truly remarkable!" a little girl with light blue hair couldn't contain her amazement as she witnessed the severe wound on her mother's abdomen close up suddenly, leaving no trace of a scar.

"However, this violet energy has no effect on the injured Silver Wolf members," one soldier noted, observing that the injuries of the captives showed no signs of healing.

"Who is this remarkable person, who benevolently aids everyone even at the cost of expending such a tremendous amount of mana?" a Sorcerer with magical perception abilities attempted to detect the presence of the great person aiding them.

But all efforts were in vain, as Lucius had no intention of revealing himself; only Loretta knew precisely who it was.

"At least this healing aura domain will last for an hour without needing mana to sustain it in real-time," Lucius softly mused while walking away from the lobby, followed by Loretta at his side.

Heading towards the parking area beside the mall, where the helicopter that had brought him was stationed, Lucius issued his instructions while walking:

"Loretta, let us head home. I am quite hungry now. This time, I shall dine in the living room while enjoying the comedy show."

Loretta nodded lightly and replied politely:

"Understood, Young Master. I will contact the others to ensure your lunch is promptly served."

Reaching for her phone, Loretta called her fellow maids, instructing them to prepare a variety of delicious lunch dishes.
