Riku can clearly see the system grinning at him.
If Riku thought about his pride and didn't do this mission, he would lose Igris, Black March and inventory. All his hard work till now would go to waste.
And if Riku thought about saving them, he would have to impure her big sister, which he values the most.
"System, you want to see me panicked right?" Riku thought.
He threw the handgun there and thought that he should first check how the his people were. He quickly went to the place where the location of their new village was and knocked the door with choreographic movements. The door opened, it was none other than the Couronne. She hugged him.
"Rikuuuuu! Where were you? Do you know how scared I was? What would have happened to our village if you hadn't come?" Couronne started scolding him.
Couronne was afraid that Riku would never return. She repeatedly prayed that nothing had happened to Riku.
"Don't worry, I am fine." Riku said.
When he came inside, he saw that all the villagers were sitting in despair. Everyone's face was filled with sadness, even the children were weeping. But as soon as they saw Riku, a light appeared in their eyes.
They all stood up. It was neither because of greed nor fear, it was because of the sheer respect they had for Riku.
"Riku, are you okay?" One of the old men asked.
"Yeah I'm alright. Here's a good news for you all, the fight that was going to happen near our old village did not happened and now our old village is absolutely fine."
Now there was no need to ask again. If Riku said that their village is fine, it means their village is completely away from danger. They started preparing to go back to the old village.
The rest of the expedition members did not thought that any battle could happen around their village, but Riku's words were enough for everyone to believed it.

After pondering for a moment he decided what he wanted to do. Riku always prioritized the life of his people, no matter what he had to do.
It was crystal clear what he's going to do. He can't afford to lose a single one of the skills. there's no way he'll lose all three of them for which he bet the lives of that many people. Which is why, he chose to do the mission.
Also, if he didn't do it this time, then the system will keep giving him these kinds of quests. Thy way, he won't have any other choice but to do this. On the other hand if he did it this time, the system won't give him this kind of quest knowing that he can do it just fine.
Riku went near Couronne and whispered to her.
"Coronne, I wanted to talk to you alone, come with me."
Couronne followed him. After walking for a while, he came to a corner of the new place where no one could see them. The rest of the people of the village were busy in other things. Riku had given everyone their respected tasks and now both of them were completely free.
"so what did you wanted to talk to me ab-" before she even completed the sentence, Riku started kissing her.
Couronne got shocked for a second, but then she started kissing him too. She always wanted she could be of help to Riku, no matter how little. Riku had always been emotionless, he was never free from responsibility.
Riku never desired for anything, He just couldn't. After he met shuvi he began expressing his emotions and smiling more often, but before that, he rarely seen smiled.
That riku, now showed that he wanted something, it's impossible for her not to give him that. But there was also some other reason for her to kiss Riku, maybe she loved Riku from within but she never had the courage to express her feelings. "Couronne?" Riku got shocked.
Couronne started kissing him again. She pushed him and got on top of him. Letting him see her naked would be so embarrassing for her that it would kill her, so she blindfolded him with a cloth.

She started undressing him.
"You smell so much Riku, you should've bathed first before doing this. How about we bath together?"
