Aria's eyes fluttered open, her gaze met with the familiar stone ceiling of the orphanage. She sighed, feeling the weight of another uneventful day ahead.
"Aria, rise and shine!" Sister Luna's cheerful voice echoed through the dormitory.
Aria swung her legs over the side of the bed, her bare feet dangling. She yawned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
As she dressed, Aria's thoughts wandered to the strange dreams that had plagued her since childhood. Dreams of ancient forests, shimmering waterfalls, and whispered prophecies.
"Aria, breakfast awaits!" Sister Luna called.
Aria joined the other orphans in the dining hall. The conversation revolved around the upcoming Harvest Festival.
"I heard the Traveling Bard will perform," one of the orphans exclaimed.
Aria's interest piqued. The Bard's tales often spoke of forgotten realms and ancient magic.

As the sun reached its zenith, Aria slipped away to the orphanage's library. Dusty tomes lined the shelves, holding secrets of the ancient world.
"Aria, what draws you to these old books?" Sister Luna asked, her eyes twinkling.
Aria hesitated. "I seek answers, Sister. About my past, my parents..."
Sister Luna's expression softened. "The truth will reveal itself in time, child."
As Aria delved into the tomes, a shiver ran down her spine. The words seemed to shift, revealing hidden meanings.
Suddenly, the air thickened, and the symbol on her pendant pulsed.
Aria's vision blurred, replaced by a vision of a realm in turmoil.
"Run, Aria," a whispered voice urged.
Aria's eyes snapped open. The library was silent, the shadows cast by the fading lights
