Chapter 1 - THIS IS ATTEMPTED MURDER

Ruben opened his eyes, and the first thing that came out of his throat was blood splashing out as he choked.

His mind was still confused, unable to process anything yet. He saw a large animal that looked like a Triceratops rushing towards him like an angry woman.

"Damn!"

Ruben got up from his feet, running for his life even though, at that moment, he felt like his feet were carrying the weight of the world. His feet were hurting like hell.

The Triceratops kept chasing him, and Ruben kept running. He didn't know why he was being chased by a fierce animal that he was now sure was not a Triceratops.

The animal had flaming eyebrows, flaming horns, and flaming legs.

Yes, the animal appeared as if it was on fire, but the fire wasn't burning it to ashes.

Ruben saw a rock and hid behind it immediately. The Triceratops-like animal didn't seem to notice him and passed by the rock, heading deeper into the dry lands.

Ruben's heart, which had been pounding in his chest, seemed to calm down for a moment. He thought he was going to die.

"Damn, where the hell am I?" He took a look at his surroundings, seeing only dry grass and trees. There was nothing else, not a single person.

What happened? He looked down at his clothes, and they were covered in blood.

He bent down, and from his shadow, he could see he appeared much taller.

All this transformation happened in a minute, and he couldn't comprehend it. Before he knew it, he felt a serious ache in his head as if something were piercing his brain, and he blacked out.

Yes, he was choking on his own blood, and he didn't possibly know how that was possible or what the state of his situation was.

He saw his memories coming back to him.

Ruben could only remember playing soccer on the court with his friends when, from nowhere, like sorcery, a fire from the sky struck him.

Ruben wondered why a fireball or meteor or something, seeing as there were many boys on the field, had to strike him. He was just a damn ordinary kid who loved playing football.

The damn fireball just struck him and took him away from his family and friends.

He had one curse word for the fireball. "Fuck you, fireball!"

Ruben rose to his feet after fifteen minutes of fainting from the serious ache that felt like a sword piercing his brain.

He had no more confusion concerning his current situation because he had received all his memories, including those of his current body.

Yes, he had been isekai'd into this world of beast taming. And the real owner of his current body was just a waste.

The students of the arched Beast Taming Academy had come to the desert to search for fierce beasts to tame, and this was when the original body's owner got into this situation.

His group members took this as a chance to get rid of him, quoting, "Getting rid of a waste beast tamer is like clearing the world of trash."

"Fuck, stupid kid. This is attempted murder." Ruben did not think much about the original body's owner because that did not concern him.

The main focus was that he was now in the original body, and the original body was being bullied.

"Am I going to be the one bullied now?"

Ruben had not finished grieving over his situation when he saw five students from the arched Academy coming over. He recognized them from their uniforms and the memory of the original owner.

The five students approaching him, both male and female, did not look friendly at all.

Their faces made Ruben quicken his pace to escape, but before he could get anywhere, a stone was flung toward him, hitting him hard on the back, and he gasped in pain.

"Oh, trash, you are still alive."

The boy who threw the stone at him stepped forward and used his feet to kick him, stomping on his feet, causing Ruben to shout in twisted pain.

The two female students accompanying him let out a snarling laugh as they saw the painful expression on Ruben's face.
