Chapter 131 - Chapter 56 - Athena, The Goddess! [5]

The goddess of perfection, divine and stunning beauty, with a statuesque stature, characteristic of the Olympians, shiny white hair, large and innocent blue eyes, rosy full lips on an extremely well-sculpted face, and a bright white skin that showed that she was the daughter of Zeus—not even being noticed the fact that she was adopted—pointed ears, similar to those of elves, and a body even more attractive than that of Aphrodite, voluptuous in the extreme sense of the word.

At the time, Hera Olympus II was an extremely beautiful teen-age girl, more beautiful than any other. She had soft skin, soft and voluminous white hair; a lively and charismatic look making her the center of attention; accentuated curves; accentuated volume, a perfect beauty. It was an appearance made to give ecstatical pleasure just with a glance. At the age of seven, she was already more beautiful than Aphrodite, and by the age of twenty she was already transcending anything in this world.

If Aphrodite induced pleasure, desire and left others with the urge to touch her, Hera II simply gave ecstasy and extreme pleasure to anyone. Even I, the smartest and wisest person in the world, have a hard time putting it into words. She exceeded any limit, her beauty improved every day. By the time I saw her fleeing with the Treadway, she had already transcended god-level. But behind her ethereal and radiant beauty, I always saw a dream of having a loving family, and a desire to be seen for more than just her looks.

I was not the best of sisters, despite being the Great Senior Sister. I was always fighting and studying, worried about being the Alpha Woman, the role model and guardian of all women that forgot to protect her. Perhaps if I had taken her as a disciple, her childhood and adolescence would have been less... Painful...

Hera II, standing behind Cassandra with her hair tied back, wore a long silver dress adorned with diamonds that trailed on the floor. She looked at me with concern in her eyes and a flushed red. – Sister Athena is just seeing Arthur's potential, she's not fighting seriously... – she whispered near Cassandra, trying to calm her down.

In the arena, the kid was already reaching the limit. Gritting his teeth, veins of worry on his face, he tried to deliver blows and dodge at the same speed as I did.

Looking at him, I dodged easily, but recognizing the boy's determination. "Interesting human..." I thought, seeing his eyes full of resolve.

His breathing grew heavy, his movements with the sword slower. He was tired due to the speed, but he continued to dodge, determined to keep fighting.

The fight would only end if one died, yielded or was incapacitated.

Paying attention to him, I began to attack non-stop, holding the hilt of my sword firmly and increasing the speed of my movements. Each strike was a masterful blend of precision and power, a dance of death that showcased my years of training. Arthur, with his more raw and desperate style, parried and dodged, his movements fueled by sheer willpower.

Taking advantage of the fact that he had just dodged a blow and was about to attack, I approached without him noticing. – Five Flowers Art: Orchid Whisper! – I announced, using the art to create an illusion where I made a cut on his neck.

Fiona trembled, her lips quivering when she spoke. – T-That's... Is it the F-Five Roses...? – she stammered, looking at the illusion created by the art.

The audience was silent. They had never seen this art, only heard that I had created a Legendary Divine Art. It was my greatest creation. The masters of the Martial Alliance begged me to teach them, the twelve sects and six clans asked, but I refused to teach this art, especially to them.

The boy fell into the illusion, moving his head away and realizing that my left fist was about to hit the right side of his face. The boy's eyes widened further, fear and indignation shining in them as sweat ran down his face. It was too late to defend or dodge.

With my support foot in front, and the other behind, I punched the kid. The impact created a gust of wind that raised my hair and drove the dust away from the arena. – Are you tired already...? – I asked, my fist breaking his skull.

My fist broke some bones in his face, disfiguring him before he was thrown to the ground, creating even more wounds on his body.

I faced him as he tried to get up. I imbued my sword with my inner Qi, leaving it suspended in the air. And as my feet left the ground to fly towards the kid with a punch aimed at his face, I immediately broke the barrier of sound.

I was faster than everyone's visual and sound perception in the Colosseum. My speed created a sonic boom, followed by a visible shockwave before surpassing their perception.

Near the kid's face, I noticed that his face was partially regenerated. So, I placed more strength and inner Qi into my fist to knock him unconscious when I heard his mother's scream, the scream had not yet formed properly due to my speed.

I believe that Andromeda only saw the moment when I left my sword suspended in the air using Telekinesis and disappeared with the sonic explosion and shockwave behind me. Only Zeus and Aphrodite could keep up with me at the speed I was moving.

In the royal area, red-faced Andromeda saw the moment I disappeared. The feel of the shockwave against her skin made tears of terror run down her face. – N... – she started, but I was already inches from the cub's face. She didn't see it, but she knew what was about to happen. She knew I was going to blow the child's head off.

– NO...! – Andromeda screamed, tears starting to run down her cheeks.

– Very good, my daughter! – Zeus announced, clapping his hands. He was elated, seeing the kid die was a lullaby for him.

Cassandra glanced at Aphrodite, her eyes narrowing. – You enjoy this, don't you? – she whispered, her voice laced with anger.

Aphrodite's smile widened, a glint of malice in her eyes. – Every moment... – she replied softly, her words dripping with satisfaction.

In the arena, my fist approached the boy's face. I wanted to get it over with.

Surprisingly, he regained his mental balance at the same speed as I was, and when my fist reached him, it wasn't his face that I hit, but his hand that wrapped around my fist.

The impact of my fist on his hand was devastating, creating a very powerful gust of wind that raised the dust and caused a thunderous noise in the Colosseum.

– WHAT HAPPENED?! – an Amazon asked in the stands, no one understanding what occurred. Only feeling the explosion and the sonic shockwave after my punch's arrival.

– THAT MUST BE THE SPEED OF THE GODDESS! SEE HER SWORD THERE! – someone exclaimed from the audience, pointing at my sword suspended in the air in an upright position.

Feeling his hand hold my fist, the dust cleared slightly, and I could see him, his bright eyes staring at me coldly. – What?! You could barely stand up, how can you defend yourself... – I expressed my astonishment, my eyes widening further. There was a mixture of astonishment and curiosity inside me.

How did he manage to restrain my fist? How did he recover so quickly? Who is this kid really?

– WHAT?! DIDN'T HE DIE?! – some Amazons shouted in surprise.

The audience was silent, not understanding anything that happened in the last few seconds. They just saw a stunned boy, me leaving my sword suspended in the air and disappearing from their sight and then appearing with my fist held by a child of twelve or thirteen.

I almost looked him in the eye, but I held back my astonishment.... It was here that everything started to get very strange. One moment he was in my hand, and the next...

Almost that my eyes—which many called "big" and "owled"— rested their gaze on the boy's shiny gold ones, I knew that something had changed there, something in his posture. He had the sword in his left hand, showing that he could wield it with both hands. Looking at me, he crushed my hand as if it were nothing, without using a technique, magic, much less Qi. – Slow! – he whispered, staring at me with eyes that had returned to the deadly coldness and a teasing smirk forming in his lips.

–HUH?! – The audience reacted to his movement; they were all surprised. He broke my hand.

Zeus shouted from the royal area; his scream was deafening. He stood up, held his white hair with veins bulging on his face. – WHAT?! – his shout accompanied by a thunder, seeing the boy completely regenerated, as if he hadn't fought that day.
