Chapter 127 - Chapter 52 - Athena, The Goddess!

In Arthur's military camp. The sky, shrouded in dense clouds, forced the soldiers to light fires for warmth. The cold air bit at their exposed skin, and the flickering flames cast dancing shadows across the camp.

Arthur released the queen from their embrace and looked at his gathered commanders. His eyes were intense, showing his unwavering determination. [Always remember what I told you, if you get even a scratch...] he warned the queen telepathically.

Arthur's gaze scanning at the others. – Your lives afflict me, but it doesn't matter! We are very close! Fight a little more, a little more, and this rotten fruit will fall! LET'S SHAKE THE TREE ONE LAST TIME! – Arthur shouted, his echoing through the camp.

Hearing the king's rallying cry, the soldiers in the camp moved closer, eager to catch every word.

Butler, looking at the king, smiled. "His Titan nature is activating. He can already use War Cry ability, that's unwavering, being able to induce morale in his allies is a good technique. I also sense that he has the Invincibility Aura, making enemies lose morale around him, but I am not sure. Soon, I'll see what are is abilities, he'll fight Zeus, after all..." he thought, smiling with joy.

– Fight for those waiting for us in Camelot! WE WERE BUILT FOR THIS MOMENT! THIS IS OUR TIME TO SHINE! THIS IS THE BATTLE THE LIGHT HAS PREPARED US FOR! – Arthur continued, veins bulging on his face and neck, his passion igniting the hearts of his soldiers.

War Cry, Arthur' ability to induce morale in allies and fear on enemies. He himself didn't even notice those abilities at first sight, but with time he came to understand his nature as a Titan.

In the ocean of death, a deadly sea with black waters and a perpetually overcast sky, only the strongest survived. This ocean was home to Skull Island, the domain of the king of monsters.

Dracula/Hades Olympus, in his palace laboratory, wore white gloves as he examined the body of a disciple of the Infinite Darkness Sect. "Treadway..." he mused, his eyes scrutinizing the corpse.

"The king truly despises the Infinite Darkness sect..." he thought, the Asura number one, entered the lab and kneeled. – Lord, the battle has begun. It is happening in the Miragea meadows... – he reported, his face pressed to the floor.

Hades sighed, still observing the dead body. – That location is exposed to the sun. Keep the vampires out of it! Send some asuras spies to gather information, but make sure they remain uncospicuous. This battle will reveal whether the Treadway has the Light Essence or not... – he responded.

Kneeling, Asura number one inquired. – And if we are sure, sir, what should we do?

Hades looked at her with a smile. – Mary, do as I command! Don't worry about the Essence of Light, that kid is already in my hands... – he said, laughing.

The Greek Empire, was one of the few to survive the great changes, was not always an empire. Initially a small kingdom, but with the fall of the Treadway empire, it became this colossus.

The names of some provinces changed, leading to the creation of the province of gods, a province where only the strongest and richest lived, those who were considered part of the "people", the "common folks" had no space there.

It was in the province of the gods that the city of Athenas was, the capital city, and home to Mount Olympus, where the divine palace, the palace of the gods, stood.

Athena Olympus, one of Zeus's eldest daughters, a divine princess, goddess of wisdom, war, crafts, and arts.

Master of Masters, and Teacher of Teachers, was acknowledged has the world's most intelligent person, the third most beautiful woman in the world, and the tenth strongest figure in the world. She was a monster in the body of a ravishing and enchanting woman.

A sculptural stunner with fair, bronze-tanned radiant skin, brown hair with gray parts, elegant and calm gray eyes, an athletic and slightly muscular yet very well-endowed and developed body, capable of evoking desire in men and envy in women.

She wore a golden tunic, with red diamond earrings and necklace, a golden flower-crown on her hair that accentuated her divine status.

Athena was in her personal training room at the divine palace, cultivating in a meditative position, entered the absolute concentration state. "Finally, after years of trying..." she whispered to herself.

As thoughts of Arthur invaded her mind, Athena began to tremble and abruptly opened her eyes.

– AHHH!!! – Athena screamed, punching the ground, creating cracks in the floor. "That human cannot win! Zeus cannot lose! I should have gone to battle, with me there... But no, I cannot stand to see that animal!" she thought, veins bulging on her face.

– I haven't been able to concentrate in years, it is all due to that monster!!! – Athena grunted, staring at the scars on her arms. – To this day, I can't understand how a mere human could do this to a god?! – she questioned, her eyes fixated on the scars.

...

Years ago, on the island of Protoss, in the royal palace of the city of Themyscira:

I remember seeing him and his mother in the main corridor when I first met them. I always thought it was absurd for Zeus to pit me against a child, a mortal. I am a goddess, the strongest deity, I could kill him while sleeping in Olympus, or use magic, something. However, I wanted to see what was so special about this kid that became a topic on Mount Olympus…

Princess Andromeda Treadway, at that time, wore a red dress, golden earrings, and a matching necklace. Her braided hair was draped over her shoulder. She saw Arthur heading toward Queen Cassandra's chamber. – Son, are you going to your grandmother's room too? – she asked with maternal tenderness.

The child, dressed in a black and gold kimono with golden earrings, looked at his mother, noticing the concern etched on her face. – What happened? – he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Andromeda, her voice trembling and face flushed, stammered, – Y-Your adversary has already arrived… – She trailed off when she saw me and bowed. – Goddess Athena… – she greeted me.

The little monster looked at me with a cold gaze. His lack of fear intrigued me, despite knowing I could kill him with a mere thought.

I was taller than them, looking at them was like observing ants. – Princess Andromeda, it is a pleasure to meet the daughter of my disciple, Queen Cassandra. And my adversary, young Arthur… – I said, noting his cold stare.

It was strange, that lifeless look in his eyes, as if he wasn't truly alive. I only knew four people with that look: Nyx, Hades, Thanatos, and myself—beings with centuries of existence, but a child with such eyes?

There was something else about him that unsettled me, but I left the boy alone, thinking he didn't know. No man had exchanged glances with me since I ordered them not fall in love with me, but this boy, his gaze exuded pure arrogance…

Andromeda, smiling, responded, – Likewise… – She turned to her son and lowered his head. – ARTHUR! – she exclaimed.

Arthur looked at his mother. – Mom! What is it?! – he questioned, as if unaware he should lower his head in my presence.

I continued on my way, but I could still hear the audacity of that boy.

With a trembling voice, Andromeda looked at my back. My hair was still dark brown at that time, and I wore a golden dress. – She is what I heard she was. Why couldn't you stop staring at her?! Don't you know the stories about her?! – she questioned, looking at her child.

Arthur smirked. – Why? She's just a normal person, nothing special. I've heard the stories, but so what? We didn't even exchange glances for her to kill me... – he said, mocking me.

Andromeda, running her hand over his head, cautioned. – Be careful! She is seen as a goddess, and she's much older than you... – she said with a smile.

It was clear he was just another brave soul aiming to challenge the gods, those worshippers of the Light. I felt a sense of ease, ready to kill him. Any guilt I might have felt was washed away by the creature's arrogance.
