Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
We were people from very different worlds. You were a lost soul in the shadow of a glamorous city, I was a pitiful soul with nothing, just a name left behind. You were like a light to me, who knew nothing of the city. You were my curiosity, my teacher, and my guide through dark paths. You became my eyes and guarded me in the darkness. The pale and shabby me and the lost you shared love on the ground, carrying my name.
"Where did you come from?" You asked. 'You didn't know my name, do you?' I replied inwardly. We loved each other as we were, until the purity faded away.
When I was a child, a friend gave me a chick, saying they couldn't take care of it. The small box was the chick's home, so the chick kept escaping from the box. I was worried that the chick, wandering around the room, might hide in the dark, hard-to-reach space under the bed. When I was young, I couldn't think of making a bigger home for the chick. I was worried about the chick, so I placed it on the bed and watched it to make sure it wouldn't go anywhere else. I thought we had both fallen asleep, but when I woke up, the chick was dead. I held the chick in my hands and cried.
You vanished in an instant, just like my childhood memories. Our warm nest turned into a cold floor, and it sprayed dirt on me like perfume, throwing my name and our promises to the ground. However My small, fierce, and red-tinged bird, I made you this way, didn't I? I won't resent the time we've had. You were everything to me, and you still are.
