Rivana shook her head in denial. "No, this must be fake," she murmured, looking up at Callum. Yes, Emmerich never treated her like he did Rubina, but he was still her father. And though she hated it, tears formed in the corner of her eyes.
"Reporters that followed Rubina and Amerie caught an ambulance rushing a few hours later," Callum slowly detailed the information. Everything happened so suddenly, but his team was able to collect all the necessary clues. With a sigh, he added, "But he lost his life before they could reach the hospital."
Passing back the phone, Azrael declared, "Arrange the team."
Callum understood the mission and quickly went to arrange their visit to the hospital. Though the Fayes never treated Rivana well, she was still a member of the family. If she didn't attend his funeral, it would give food to the witches ready to take her down, and they needed to steer clear of the drama.
