Rivana was shocked and raised her fist to punch whoever had dragged her into the room. She turned around, but the person quickly caught her fist before it could ruin his handsome face.
"Woah," Azrael chirped, amusement dancing in his eyes. Taking down her hand, he teased her, "Calm down, my feisty wife."
Rivana sighed out loud and glared at him. All the recent attacks had hit her hard, and her brain was always switched on to fight mode whenever she was alone. Azrael was glad about it, relieved that at least she wouldn't get scared and give in to the attacker.
"What are you doing here?" Rivana questioned with a pout. She scanned around the room, which seemed like a private hotel suite. Don't tell me...
"I am here to recharge," Azrael's reply connected quite with her thoughts.
Rivana looked at him, the low lift of his lips into a smirk making her heart start picking up its pace. "Re-recharge?" she asked in confusion.
